Not really that much of a negative really, it's just the bike caught me out which it hasn't done for a while. Conditions were pretty bad on the weekend, so will have a better idea after this weekend, when I get to ride it on some familiar territory
-
O.K my thoughts on the reeds. Firstly conditions yesterday were terrible, so not a good assesment, just my initial thoughts. Couldn't really tell how they were off the bottom as grip was non existant yesterday, but what i did find is the bike appears a LOT more powerfull up top. In fact the bloody thing caught me out a few times, and I managed to snap my front mudguard, when the bloody thing launched me skyward ( nothing whatsoever to do with rider error it was all the bikes fault honestly) I shall see how it goes over the next couple of weeks and see what I think then?

So were the nineties and naughties
Will give feedback on these after the weekend.
What are points
-
Not goin to get a chance to see until a trial on Sunday, so I hope it's not radicaly different
-
Did that. Phew, thought i had done it wrong for a moment

Got the reds fitted today, but haven't had a proper go on the bike. But my inital impression is that the bike is damped or muffled(couldn't think of a better word sorry) Not sure if this is how it should be but i shall report back when I get a proper ride
-
Mmm I thought that as well, but read it on here while doing a search?
-
Where do you get lighter springs from, and why 3 not 5?
-
I Find the clutch on my 2003 290 a bit on or off if you know what i mean. I put this down to using ATF. I have just changed to regular 10/40 and noticed a small differance. My question is has anyone tried DOT 5?

Am I right in thinking that reeds for a Ktm65 sx, 1998 - 2008. will also fit the Sherco 290
-
I have no idea what you are on about

How about this one with an Ohlis rear shock?

How about a Honda XR650 great all round bikes, and not to heavy for off road?

I do think there is a maarket for these even if it is a limited one. Just read about the KTM and it's aimed (KTM words not mine) at new riders and those short in stature. MMM a lot of money for that market?
What i read about the T-Ride when it came out, and I was really interested in one after seeing the viedeo is that it lacked power and was a bit lame. I personaly would love a small powerful bike I could through around
-
I can only think of the Scorpa T-Ride and Gas Gas Pampera, which are the same sort of bike what are the others?
-
Try the welsh trials website for info

So which of those sections did you think was easy then Ian

hello and welcome to the forum
-
Think maybe you should have a word with your doctor and possibly work on your fitness?
-
Thanks guys. I think i shall give the number plate bolts a go
-
Just replaced the rear fender on my 2003 290. Everyone I have seen has cracked in pretty much the same place, where it bolts through. is there some other way of fastening it ., so that the bolts (or whatever) break instead of the mudguard?
