So is it just a case of taking the standard ones out and dropping new ones in?
-
So what i've read is softer off the bottom, crisper at the top, but what about the middle.?
And which part of the Unicorn do they use/
-
I've read a bit about this, but will they actually make a noticeable difference to my 2003 290?
-
So what do you guys prefer 250 or 290?
-
So which Beta Evo do you guys reccomend the 250 or the 290. I am still a novice kind of, but plenty of off road experience. And it doesn't always figure that the bigger bike is the more ferocious model
-
the other thing is which size to get mmm and to afford one I will have to sell my Ducati. Which if i'm honest i don't use that much
-
Should I be wanting a Beta Evo.. Had a quick go on a mates Rev3 yesterday and quite liked it. The build quality and spec seems better than my Sherco? Just wondering what are the pros and cons of Beta ownership and which model to go for. And will I ever really get used to the left kick.
Just thinking out loud really, as I know someone else can't choose a bike for me. just a thought on other peoples experiences?

Do the midges come out when it's raining that mutch?

A few of us are going along to watch. i think wellies will be the clothing choice for the day
-
Sorry guys , but i'm not that up on GG's. How different is the spec on a Raga rep?
-
When people recomend the Michelin tyres is it these they mean?

May be wise to get a second key as a spare?
-
That's what was wrong with mine when that happened to me.
-
If it's bolted to your swingingarm, does it have to be GasGas specific?
-
-
Thanks for helping me make up my mind about keeping the bike
-
looks like i'm keeping the bike then
It has no issuues and starts first kick every time. I find it a lot smoother than my mates Scorpa not sure why but his is snappier. Only thing it needs is a new reaar mudguard and graphix (slight accident with a tree when I first had it) The only thing i realy dislike about it is the cheap looking blue fork caps. As for mods i would like to convert to fatbars, though I haven't looked in to this yet and possibly some new footpegs. Ohlins shock sounds nice, but i'm guessing they are quite pricey.
What about the front forks. Can they be improved or are they good anyway?
If i'm keeping it , i would like to make it the best it can be without being excessive with the cash. Titanium bolts and the like aren't for me.
Are more modern bikes much lighter as my mate suggests
sorry if some of the questions seem a little dumb
-
Don't really know. What would be sensible mods if any?
-
I'm fairly new to trials (BOUT 4 MONTHS) and have a 2003 Sherco 290. I get on with this bike pretty well. I didn't get a newer bike to start in case the sport wasn't for me. My dilema now is, should I get a newer bike (probably the same) or stick with what I have and update it. Been thinking about an 2008 ish bike.
Question is at my skill level will i just be spending money for the sake of it or I will see real benefits from a newer bike?
If I keep the 2003 what sensible mods can i do to it?
All thoughts and opinions greately appreciated

Maybe you should try adjusting it correctly. Apparently this works and only takes a minute or two

Seems like a good idea ( in principal) and easier than whipping off the barrel, for extra base gaskets. Not that i'm thinking of doing either, I just wondered as I hadn't seen one before.
Thanks for replying by the way

Anyone tried one of these or have any thoughts on them?
