  1. Hey Biff, are the MOTA boys holding the Wardsville trials again this year in Canada? I don't see anything on your website
  2. Had a spare half hour so with no replies I dived in and stripped it down, turned out to be the O ring so replaced it, refilled with oil and all good again with no leaks
  3. Seem to have developed a leak on my clutch master, fluid seems to be leaking from around the sight glass. Anyone else experienced this and any suggestions on a fix? I am not sure if they are a press fit or if there is a O ring or are they just glued in
  4. I see them on the BTwice website but is the software included so you can set the TPS and idle speed etc?
  5. I hold mine down while kicking and let it go when it fires up
  6. See you on Sunday? No riding for me as the ossa is in pieces but I am thinking of having a run down to see everyone
  7. If they have the Wardsville trial again (just west of London) that is an excellent trial, that is where I met Biff and the rest of the US contingent last year, it was a stellar sunny day on an excellent piece of property, well worth the trip!
  8. Compete!...dammit.....compete!......it's fun, good exercise, and a good day out. Where in Ontario are you?
  9. Was the company BTwice. They sell throttle bodies for ossas but I had not read if they came with cables and software, although when you replace the body you do have to reset the TPS
  10. God help us all........
  11. I have witnessed this and although I was more disturbed by the sight rather than driven wild, it did look like a good idea
  12. Does it have a flywheel weight fitted?
  13. I think a lot of people would pay that
  14. Hi ric, this is the kit on the 2014 models that is now fitted as standard, it is ossas version of the 9v version we are all using and uses only 1 kill switch to both start the bike, and stop it, in place of the two switches we use with the 9 v version It is essentially the same thing using a rechargeable 1.2 v battery stepped up to 10 v when the kill switch is pressed top recharge the electronics, just like the 9 v kit does when you press and hold the switch. Ossa gave just packaged it into one unit and wired it so that the Battery gets recharged and then stepped up to 10 v Ps, if you are using a regular alkaline 9 v battery I cannot stress enough how much of a difference I think a high power battery makes in the starting, technique is also a big part of it which Xavi speaks to in the ossa document
  15. Full details on the east start kit and how it works etc are in this document http://www.ossamotor.es/phpsoft/biblioteca/arxius//20131008%20INTRODUCTION%20START%20SYSTEM%20ASSIST_web.pdf As you will see retrofit on an older bike is quite a task which is why the old easy start 9v kit looks easier
  16. Use a high power 9v battery such as an energizer lithium, costs more but works better
  17. I have not seen the actual kit for sale yet as the are all being used on new bikes so there are none spare, or so I was told. If you don,t have the 9 v battery assist fitted you should definitely put one on, it is the same principal as the new easy start kit on the 2014 models and works a treat
  18. The wires connect to the only 2 bullet connectors in the mass of wires that should be by the headstock, there are only 2 that will fit and correspond with the bullets from the switch
  19. I would like to see ossa release a version of the software and cables that is restricted but affordable so that owners can tinker a little, idle etc. without overdoing it and breaking the engine. I would imagine that the warranty would be voided if adjustments were made with homemade cables.
  20. I have the shock adjustment guide pout out by OSSA Canada, PM me your5 e-mail address and I will send to you if you don't have it, contains a couple of tricks that avoid some of of the dismantling

    Ossa Flywheel

I sealed mine for the same reason, I took mine off and cleaned all behind it. There is no danger of getting water in the engine from there but I figure rust is not good
  22. Is it mapped current. Is the TPS sensor set correctly?
