  1. I ie in milton and ride the cvmg trials. They are excellent, a lot of easy fun and a great bunch. I also will be at orangeville. Cma trials are also excellent if a little more infrequent, cvmg go into November so still 3 trials to go.
  2. Yes,I do mean the cables and software. I will keep you posted and please let me know if Lewisport (I assume) will sell you a set as I am also interested. From my previous experiences it all seems pretty straight forward to pad maps and set the tps so I am unsure why ossa don't want them out there for us relentless tinkerers
  3. As the title says, does anyone have their own mapping leads? Is so where did you get them, and does the purchase give you access to the latest maps and the update software? I enquired but there was a reluctance to sell them to non-dealers, Plus they are extremely expensive
  4. What's the plug look like?
  5. You can't.....simple as that. Everyone on this site will tell you that their bike is the best and the onky way to decide is to ride different bikes yourself and pick the one you like. Or just buy another 315 as they are still competitive
  6. Yikes, may need a repack if that is what is coming out of it
  7. The website that got me back into trials after moving to Canada is signing off. Thanks to Borus and anyone else who contributed, I always found it to be a useful resource. Time to move on, when one door closes another opens........good luck to Clint and www.ontariotrialsrider.com
  8. you may be able to get by with regular oil changes but I pity the next purchaser if you don't do the right thing and fix it before selling.
  9. Typical BBC.....they should try doing a bit of actual research first to get their facts right. I would bet a pound to a pinch of Sh*t that they would not issue a correction if their error was pointed out to them. Even if they had said "trail" bike they would still have been wrong, the kid was clearly riding a motocrosser!!! And that old duffer talking about baffles and aircraft engines........what sort of expert is he? online complaints to the BBC at this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complain-online/
  10. We have the same bike so if you come across the magic cure please share!
  11. Did you readjust the lever after putting in the new plates? If the lever was adjusted for the old plates I guess it could need a bit of fiddling to get right. I have a 2013 with the new plates fittes as standard and there is still a little drag which a control with lever adjustment
  12. I could have driven him one down from Canada in less time ( if I were motivated enough and didn't have to work for a living)
  13. I think Mung is seeing it my way, not yours TLTEL, and yes Mung, you are right, I also like to try to keep it looking good for myself as well, not to mention that a Marzocchi aluminum fork tube is $400 + in Canada if you accidentally drop one on a rock, for that sort of money a $10 piece of plastic protection is a very small price to pay
  14. Sorry to hear that, I would have cancelled the order long ago and bought something more accessible
  15. reason I was asking is that I was reading another thread about lanyards and more people seem to just wire it in sequence with their existing kill switch so that they can don't always have to pull the lanyard if they are just stopping the bike. Doubling up on kill options seemed like a good idea to me
  16. when the bike is running and in neutral does the noise disappear when you pull the clutch lever in?
  17. Are you wiring in conjunction with the strandard kill switch so you still have both options? if so I don't think it matters, you just splice one wire from the lanyard to each of the current kill switch wires, when the lanyard is triggered it should just act the same a the standard kill switch and kill the engine. I am not 100% sure so someone else should chime in here and confirm or not
  18. He's alive!!.....been a while since we have heard from you....I hope you have the new bike by now
  19. I'm with mokwepa on this, I like to keep my bikes looking as good as I can for the next guy, nothing wrong with looking after something I paid a hell of a Lot of money for
  20. Looks like a Tryalsshop bike, mike Komer is well respected and knowledgeable so I would have no issue buying from him. I think he also carries fanatic spares
  21. What is the specific issue?
  22. did you get the dogbone fixed under warranty?
