  1. Yes bad failure, are you still in the warranty period? On another note, it does look very dry around the pivot points in there which could have had an impact I suppose
  2. Never seen or heard of it before on any of the 20 or so ossas I know of in my area, ism interested to see what is meant by exploded, did the bones themselves fail or was it a failure of the dogbone pin? I know they modified the pin on the 2013 models
  3. Yes, pictures please when you get it back.....off to the garage now to check mine over
  4. Wellies are!...used to ride in NBC wellies when I started in the late 70's
  5. I do exactly the same on my Ossa's, central vac tubing is what I use, $8 for an 8ft length, makes 4 sets. A very cheap and effective was to protect the lower tubes.
  6. What do you mean by many different flywheel positions? Surely the flywheel only goes on one way as per the woodruff key location?
  7. Don't get me wrong....I wish I had a place like that to ride in suburbia as well, its just that with that big wall and other houses around I thing the sound may be amplified as it bouces off surrounding objects, particularly the wall.
  8. Unfortunately I can see this all ending badly unless you have very understanding neighbours and local cops who do not respond to noise complaints
  9. Welcome aboard!...you won't be disappointed
  10. Excellent trial!, excellent venue!, excellent weather! very well laid out sections on a nice loop. I rode the D line and that was testing enough for me. Even the traffic cooperated better than expected on the trip home. Well done Dave and the organizers, a very nice day out!
  11. I'll jump in here and say buy an ossa 300 factory r.......and sit back and wait for the fallout from dabster!......just for ****s and giggles.....
  12. even quicker suggestion by lineaway, i usually take the opporftunity to grease everything while the wheel is out but if your bearings etc. are okay then his way will be quicker
  13. Drop the front wheel remove the retaining pin(s) for the old pads remove the old pads At this point I usually gently push the caliper piston back in a little with a flat blade screwdriver to open up the gap a little for the new pads insert new pads replace retaining pin(s) reinsert front wheel tighten axel bolt ride bike
  14. I would say you have an issue, possibly a short or fault draining the batteries. I have a 24v for my 9 year old and get at least an hour, longer if she is practicing on the flat ground around the neighbourhood.
  15. An expertly delivered, technical assessment of the said female Andy,........I concur
  16. ...........just for Zippy.......for the hell of it!
  17. How about this fron trials Canada http://www.trialscanada.com/whatis.html
  18. Wulfsport= light, comfortable, and cheap, oh, and did I say cheap?, I paid about 40.quid of te bay, very reasonable
  19. One little slip in the mud and you are ready to start looking for more power? Laser1 is likely right on the money here, you need to work withwhatvyou have for a while rather than just looking for excuses to make major changes. Set the bike up for your weight and improve your technique, higher comp will not improve grip in mud, less revs and better weight positioning is what you need
  20. Yes, good job for fixing, I don,t think the sh#tty comment warrants the attack, the kids only young, cut him some slack
  21. Open face for better all round vision, ventilation, lightness etc. and they are cheap enough, got my wulfsport off the bay for 40 quid.
  22. I have a 300i, I traded up from a 280i, I am not a fantastic rider by any means but .....holy crap what a great bike! I got a great trade price but I think in Canada used prices are higher generally because there are just fewer bikes available, not sure what the used situation is like in oz.
