  1. I have had 2, a 2011 model and a 2013 factory bike, no issue with either and the are a brilliant bike once set up correctly.
  2. Is someone looking for one? I found one when we moved and still have it somewhere
  3. Rider must accept some responsibility here then as if it had been loose for some time surely something would have been noticed or felt and should have been checked. I once had a loose clamp bolt and could feel something was not right so I went through all th3 bolts until I found the loose one
  4. The clutch hub retaining bolt can also be retro fitted if it is not already in place
  5. Having the diagnostic leads and software also makes life easier, maybe find out if someone local to you has a set before you decide otherwise it could be an issue for you down the road
  6. Spares can still be had, it depends what you need. I have never broken anything major, just consumables, sprockets etc, which are common across a lot of bikes. If the price is right I would consider it. Mine has been a great bike, my 2013 is my second. It's only a 280i, not a 290, is it the one on kijiji?
  7. Check both bar clamps are tight
  8. surprised it held up with JB weld
  9. its easy but may not be necessary. check the plates first, clean them, change your oil, etc. etc.
  10. Blood for sure, don't know what lhm is.
  11. I think the software actually fires the injector so I would think you would see a spray of fuel or evidence of fuel at least
  12. Clutch fixer nut is in the centre of the clutch basket. To secure it use a torx wrench pushed through the crank breather hole, give it a tap to secure it on the clutch fixer rod hole and then undo the left hand nut if you gave an early 2012 you may not have the nut as the rod was an upgrade on the 2012 model
  13. sounds like you may be on the right track with a pipe to go inside the termi - lewisport have a similar product on their website at this link: http://lewisportusa-com.3dcartstores.com/GAS-GAS-TAIL-PIPE-EXTENDER-FOR-SPARK-ARRESTOR-2011-CURRENT_p_935.html that is for a gas gas I would imagine that as long as the pipe is not too thick and restrictive that it would not affect performance too much
  14. I think lewisport used to sell one so perhaps Adrian still has some or at least knows the fitment type
  15. I don't blame you for selling if it is not the bike for you, takes the fun out of it.
  16. Just out of interest what spares are you unable to get?
  17. I always wondered how effective a ramped up aaa battery would be to precharge the system. I don't have any issues with a 9v lithium that pressurized tge fuel pump before kicking over. With the aaa system does the fuel pump make a noise when you press the button or does it just energize the wiring for a spark?
  18. i dont use a rechargeable anymore, I used to but switched it out for a 9v lithium high power battery which has never let me down yet
  19. maybe the rechargeable ones were flat
  20. you set the tps without the bike running, although I think you said it was 5.0 last time so the bike should at least still fire.
  21. looks like the bulbs that are used now are all LED as the instructions indicate.....still a mystery in progress
  22. Does it have any voltage ratings marked on it?
