Trials tribulations? Or birketts? I have a pair in my garage but not much use to you in Canada
  2. ...........now, where can I get a rotary dial cell phone from.......
  3. should have stayed with the orange.........this bike has no soul!
  4. not sure how the dual map loader works but that sounds like a good place to start by switching the switch. please report back with results.
  5. Which map does Joa recommend for the 300? I have a bunch of maps but not sure if I have the latest, can you give me the map name when you get a mo!
  6. OK, the exe files will be in the zip or rar. You need to extract those files using win zip or win rar which are free programs that will basically unpack those files to your computer so you can then install them. Zip and rar files are a method of shrinking file sizes for easier distribution
  7. Yes it needs to be loaded, they should be .exe files that when younclick on them they put the actual program on your computer. With my leads I have a 12 volt adapter that connects to the plug Behring the number plate that powers the system (when energized you should hear the fuel pump prime) then when you plug in the leads from the computer it should detect and the graphs and other functions should be available
  8. Y'see......pulling on nipples fixes everything's!
  9. Opens for me...www.ossamotor.es
  10. yes, the 2 rubber spikes hold the sensor in. You also have to make sure that the airfilter rubber is seated in the airbox hole correctly, there is a rim again that has to be pushed all the way down through the hole, almost like a channel around the rubber that the plastic of the box sits into. IF the filter rubber is not all the way through the hole it can interfere with the seating of the sensor as there is very little clearance between the sensor and the airbox
  11. Very nice, mark should advertise these as I think he woul sell a few
  12. New type filter on an older bike is a pain in the ass unless you move the ecu, it is possible but I don't think worth it. Use if the secondary filter will mean very few actual filter cleans anyway
  13. When I had my 2011 model I used to thread the rubber spikes on the filter through the holes and then grab the end with a pair of pliers and stretch the rip über spike a little while pushing the sensor in, there is a small ridge on the rubber spike that holds the sensor in place, when it is stretched through the hole and released the ridge should be visible indicating that the sensor is in
  14. The explorer tach/speedo panel fits straight on and plugs into the loom for a full range of options
  15. If you lay the bike all the way over you can take the clutch cover off without draining the oil, also makes it easier to centre the spring when putting it back together
  16. Yes but where's the fun in using a screwdriver when you can hook it up to a computer........
  17. Fun to just tinker with the settings as well as trying the different maps
  18. Ok, sounded like something needed doing from your post
  19. what are you looking to do Ric?
  20. Now how do you know all that Ric............?
  21. Oil in the mag case unless you put it there is not normal or part of the design. More likely a gasket leak from the crank case
  22. Ok, additional weight does not even factor in here, the dust on my bike at the moment weighs more than the tiny plastic elbow and hose! If so worried about weight why add the flywheel? Ian, to your point, I have never had anyone say I over engineered anything before, I feel so proud! The problem with a hole in the bottom, or an unsealed case is that if you drop it in water and the engine cools quickly you will draw water in due to the thermal contraction. Taking the case off and wd40 is a good idea, but I was looking for a solution I could just forget about. I have not had my mag cover off for 2 years. Flywheel weight, I like it, gives the motor a little extra run on without sacrificing power, which the factory r has tons of.
