  1. Wouldn’t it be easier just to fit a rim tape?
  2. Never had a problem getting a seal, just make sure everything is clean and well lubed The puncture repair seems to be holding even at low pressure
  3. True! I'll leave it overnight with 5psi
  4. Just finished it, put a large patch on the rim seal. It currently seems to be holding 40psi quite well at the moment
  5. I’ve got a slow puncher, it turns out the rim tape has a very small split where a spoke has damaged it! Anyone ever repaired a rim tape with a puncture repair kit?

Yes, you need to use a press.
  7. What’s the diameter of the MP600 fork stations? Is it 32mm or 1.1/4”
  8. it's looking good The only thing I would add is a rear sprocket guard (I saw someone lose some fingers when I was in the schoolboys!)
  9. Two stroke timing retards as the revs are increased (Opposite to a 4t motor)
  10. I've used a couple of pairs of NJB, and the seem pretty good
  11. Looks like its missing gaskets between the manifold faces, or have you used instant gasket?
  12. Looking at that manifold, I'd suspect an air leak!
  13. You need deep pockets even for a mild modified bike, and its very time consuming! If you are on a budget a twinshock trials or pre65 that’s already done is your best bet
  14. That's nothing. I was so skint once, I had to cook my chips in two stroke oil...
  15. Very much depends on the price?
  16. That’s probably more to do with who bored it rather than the piston I never come across a piston that wears out after two trials no matter how cheap!
  17. I've got one of those 'Gara Trial' tyres that I took off a bike many years ago, I might give it a try the next time I go practicing
  18. What did pirelli change, was it the compound & block pattern?
  19. I work in engineering , and qualified to say 'sh!t happens'. That’s why machine mart sells welders
