I use them on my bikes as well

I agree with feetuptun, can't see the point when you have a cast iron liner.
-
O rings from a bearing supplier or ebay
-
I broke my hand last year
The bike was fitted with a sub-standard rider!
-
What sort of person wouldn’t offer help to a fellow rider!
-
Should be fine, I used DC rack with a BSA B25 MX bike without any problems (on the back of a escort van)
I would think a Cub would be around 90kgs, or less for a trick cub
-
I bet you wouldn’t get that problem with 'Arsol'
-
I’m going to stop using silkolene, as the SHTT seems more tailored to my riding style
-
Does anyone know what the correct OD size is for the 40mm seals (2004 Steel tube type)
40 x 52.2 x 10/10.5
40 x 52 x 10/10.5
Which are correct?

Has anyone had problems with the morad wheel rims, the front rim on my bike as corroded from the inside, especially around the valve and clamp hole!
Is there any other option to Morad in 32 hole rims?
-
I’ve rebuilt the shock using the above video & info off the net, it was quite a simple fix.
The only bit I wasn’t keen on was drilling it to let the pressure out!
I will post some photos later
-
Are the Sachs shock on the Beta, Sherco TXT Pro the same?
-
Does anyone where to get one repaired?
-
Yes, I have the shock off the bike.
-
The rear shock on my bike has stopped working correctly, it will only go down 2/3 the travel then hits a dead stop hard (about 5mm before the rubber bump stop)
Anyone else had this problem?

A man who wants to murder his wife goes in a pharmacy and asks for cyanide.
“I’m sorry sir, but I can’t give you cyanide just like that.”
Without a word, the man takes out his wife’s photograph and holds it in front of him.
The pharmacist apologizes, “My mistake, I didn’t realize you had a prescription.”

I wouldn’t mess with the spring, you might regret it when your throttle sticks open
-
You need the help of someone with a lathe and reamer
If the conrod is assembled its a bit more tricky
-
Oxalic acid, I used it on a (very rusty) rickman steel tank, and some old DT125 parts.
It did the job very well indeed without even damaging the paint on the outside of the tank
but be careful and safe, I did mine in the lab at work!
they also use it on boat hulls, to clean the fiberglass. you can buy it on ebay
-
I run my air-cooled bikes at 40:1 never had a problem.
I fact I've just had a look down the barrel of my Suzuki and I can still see the honing pattern after 10 years running!
-
agreed, and saves a few quid
-
The BSA forks are worth keeping, all you need to do is weld a bar on and you have two first class pogo sticks.
The kids love'em
-
then its scrap,
With 1mm play up & down it would be knocking, and not far off punching a hole in the crank cases!
-
They have a strange custom at my new work place. The food has names.
Yesterday for example I got me a sandwich out of the fridge and its name was "Michael".
