Father buys a lie detector that makes a loud beep whenever somebody tells a lie.
The son comes home in the afternoon. Father asks him, “So, you were at school today, right?”
Son: “Yeah.”
Detector: “Beep.“
Son: “OK, OK, I was in a cinema.”
Detector: “Beep.”
Son: “Alright, I went for a beer with my friends.”
Father: “What?! At your age, I wouldn’t touch alcohol!“
Detector: “Beep.”
Mother laughs: “Ha ha ha, well, he really is your son!”
Detector: “Beep.”

Do you really want a wheel sealed with plumbers mate?
-
Probably damaged the rim band when fitting the tyre, seen it done a few times!
-
yes but a grinder at 3am in the morning does tend to make a lot of noise?
But could be an issue in a secluded area
-
-
You need it anchored to the floor, or they will just carry it off and load it in a van!
Unfortunately I speak with experience
And an alarm if possible, even the cheapo ebay shed alarms are better than nothing!
-
My back garden is quite secluded so now feel like I have lost my privacy
I’m also expecting some very unwelcome visitors!
-
I’ve always made a point of not displaying my bikes, but last week some lowlife was flying a drone around spying in peoples back gardens!
it seemed quite interested in my bike which I was cleaning at the time
I tried to follow it but it shot off into the distance, someone told me the expensive ones have a range of 4 miles and a 4k camera!

I have a pair of boots and the upper leather has gone very thin around the gear-change area, anyone else had this problem?
I was thinking of gluing a leather patch on top?
-
Only if you have one for every gear
-
Excellent, you never stop learning
-
What would happen if you put a mojo band around the ionizer BS?
And not just any Mojo band, but the double hologram full 9 inches !?!?!?!
-

could the frame no's be listed on here, might help spot them?
-
A shoe dryer would be nice, but who pays for all the Febreze
-
newspaper stuffed in, and changed when its damp.
Someone also recommended not putting your feet down when riding, but I’ve not had much luck with that one
-
Yes, hard chrome plated. but I think the plates are mild steel.
-
yes, sounds like a good idea.
I may also see if I can get a cheap old frame and spray it rather than chrome it!
-
Have you measured the oil in - out, or are you just estimating?
-
that's how mine started, then the buckle developed a very fine crack
The chrome is perfect on this frame, it seems such a shame to weld!
-
Does it smoke (a lot) all the time or just after a blast, may just be oil in the exhaust?
if it was the gasket it would suspect it would empty the gearbox rather quickly!
-
I sold a good frame a few years ago, wished I’d kept it now!
