  1. Definitely looks a bit shifty. To be fair, it was a tad early for him to be up and out. Van now gone to repairers. If they repair it as quick as we might have it back for Scotland.
  2. Some thieving Ba****ds paid us a visit last night and helped themselves to one or two parts from the van. From the pictures, it would appear that they took specific parts as nothing was taken from inside the van. This happened in the Richmond, North Yorkshire area so keep so your eyes open and ears to the ground. This is whats left:- A full set of pictures can be found here CSI have just left and have found nothing they can use. It would appear to be a professional job. Apparently, there has been a few vans stripped locally in the last few weeks. More expense and 4 weeks before Scotland ****!*!* Bas***ds.
  3. Managed one or two pictures at the Jack Wood on Sunday which have been posted on www.trials.freeola.com. Congratulations to Dave, Andy and all the team from Hillsborough for putting on such an event.
  4. Don't think it could be classified as a new product or advertising or anything else that would contravene Andy's rules. As far as I am aware there is only one in existence and it's mine, unless anyone out there has made a copy. (Andy, no warnings please - I am one of the good guys.) Back in 2001 we had two bikes stolen and the low life went to great extremes to get them. As the use of chains and ground anchors proved useless in preventing the loss of our bikes so we had to think of a more secure deterrent. Hence the frame locky thing. Unfortunately we did not get our bikes back.
  5. I'm the one responsible for this concoction. Forgot that the web site it came from was still in existence as is now well out of date. The stand has been modified since these pictures were published to stop the tank from being removed to access the bar passing through the frame. As said before - If they want your bikes they will get them. But if we make life a tad harder for them, hopefully they will give up.
  6. Pictures from today's Cleveland National
  7. Pictures from Sunday's trial at Cogden Hall are now uploaded and available here
  8. Pictures from the 1st round of the 2008 ACU Novagar National Trials Championship Apologies to those missing from the pictures, I was supposed to be manning the support vehicle but managed time out to take one or to pictures and still managed to refuel and adjust chain chain at half way point. Congratulations to the North Berks MC for a wonderfull day. I didn't get lost and managed to find my way to all the sections which for me is good and so 10/10 to North Berks.
  9. Pictures from the Timperley Cup Trial. A round of the Yorkshire Centre Championship Hosted by Bradford & DMC
  10. Believe it or not but it is more difficult to get a picture with feet down. The pictures are usually taken just before or after. Nice to hear some encouraging comments.

  15. Stop the video playing and right click on the download icon. Select "save target as" or "save link as" and save file as normal to your HD. Download time will depend on your connection speed.
  16. Program now copied and ready to burn. Have also created a Divx copy and uploaded HERE. As yet I have not been able to watch the full 24 minutes, probably due to my connection to the net falling over. However, I have added a download icon to the video page to allow the save target function to work. Enjoy. For those without Divx go to Divx.com
  17. Pictures are of both sides but the real damage was done to the casing where the final drive shaft tried to split the casing. The internals are, on inspection perfect and have re-used some of the parts on a rebuild. Our best guess is that some foreign object got between the chain and sprocket and something had to give. The only damage to the motor was the casing.
  18. One or two Pictures from Bayliss Gap earlier today. Bayliss Gap Pictures

    One Sick Pro

If any one out there is planning on buying a pro, don't let this topic put you off. The virus that hit my pro is I hope a rare one. Section six of this years Wainwright and the motor dumps all its oil and develops a rattle. We get the bike home and this is what we found. As yet we still do not know the cause and are assuming a foreign object got between the chain and sprocket as there is no apparent damage in the gear box. The pro is a 2003 250 and this was the first illness in nearly 5 years. Motor all rebuilt and running better than ever. S what caused the damage???
  20. Renewal quote just in from Bennetts. 2004 280 Pro TPFT 150 excess Policy underwritten by Norwich Union
  21. Could the magic post pixie be a reformed character ??? Pixies (or piskies) are little people who believed to live on the downs and moors of Cornwall, England. According to one myth, pixies were originally Druids who resisted Christianity, and the more they resisted the smaller they grew. Yet another myth tells of a race of people who were not good enough for heaven, nor bad enough for hell and were doomed to wander the earth forever. They love to steal horses and ponies and make nocturnal rides on their backs over the heaths and moors, while entangling the manes of the animals. Even inside houses people are not safe to their tricks, such as throwing small objects at the inhabitants. Although pixies like to play, they are hard workers as well. They work on Trials Central the entire night for some bread and cheese.
  22. Well AGiow or ASiow could email the results to website AT trialscentral.com and the magic news post pixie could sort it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not everyone knows about the magic news post pixie.

    Gas Gas Pro

Common problem. Take bolt out at top of suspension unit and add a spacer. (Good thick washer will do the trick)Also add some sticky plastic to exhaust to stop tyre wearing through should it still catch a little.
  25. Sorry Stu-- Just love my van the way it is. Ady, What is "a little Fiat" ?? Stuart
