  1. as usual woody is speaking from a position based on experience and knowledge,he puts forward his opinion but does not try to force it down peoples necks !! back to the question in hand, from my point of view the less than spectacular entries at miller rounds is due to cost and distance, last year i did the first 4 rounds,i then decided that i could`nt face the long drive, followed by a long trial ,followed by a long drive home, then an hour of bike washing. maybe i am just idle !!
  2. do i detect a bit of frustration creeping in dave ? the world is full of two types of people, those who do and those who talk. no point in wasting your breath on the latter !!!
  3. i think he means sprocket ratios
  4. on the way to a trial my dave cooper rack broke, the square tube next to the weld has fractured, and has dumped the bike on the road. you can guess at the result !!! has any one else had this happen? is there a better quality rack on the market ? CHECK YOUR RACK NOW !!!!!!!

  15. hi paul, get the standard forks re-chromed,give me a call,i know a good place for the job. find a pair of norton or triumph twin inner valve springs use these as spacers, you may have to shorten them depends how buggered your springs are. with the forks fully compressed and springs removed, fill to 5 - 6 inches from top with 15 or 20w fork oil if you experiment you can get them very good
  16. my entry arrived this morning but there is no start address !!!! any one know where the start is ?

    Swm Clutch

martin is spot on as usual,my 280 has the extended arm and is as light as my majesty clutch. correct adjustment is vital to avoid drag or slip.
  19. for that price i would want vesty`s ability thrown in !!!!
  20. sorry mate - i have to correct you.early grippers had an alloy tank with separate plastic side panels. a friend of mine had a new one like this.don`t know when they changed to one piece tank seat.
  21. I remember my TL well, possibly the worst trials bike ever built - unless you know different !!!!
