    Honda Rs200T

hi there Kjl, would think Tlr200 at 15.5/16" or Tlr 250 at 15.3/4" would be the way to go.

    Tlm 260

any yammy or suzuki pistons the same size and more readyly available?
  4. crikey is that seat photoshopped on to there......LOL
  5. get some weld on them to build the stops up again
  6. smooth the scuffs if bad....then apply stickers!!!!!
  7. not a difinitave answer i know, but would think they the same. would also think XL,XR, and ATC 200's are same too.
  8. cool, thanks for that, i'd not seen this outfit before.
  9. cheers guys, thats very reasonable, i expected the falcons to be way dearer than that. had a look at the rock shox site, they look good too, but if i done my sums right they come out at about 250 quid a pair!!!
  10. i gather the honda number for the taper KIT is SSH200, which also fits XL75-185 and XR200 twin shock. still not got an actual bearing number though that we can take to the bearing supplier.......best tell the lazy sh*t to take his forks to bits so we can measure the shaft and pocket size which will enable us to look at the size charts.
  11. what sort of money are the falcons?....looking at prices for tlr200 at the moment. have heard the falcons are good, but takes an age to get your order done...is this so?
  12. hi folks, my mates looking for some taper rollor steering bearings for a tl125......anybody know what the numbers for these are so we can go to the local bearing shop? thanks.
  13. cheers rollox, i'd been scouring the web thisarvo, and found similar charts to those.....has answered my question anyway. i've got a 97.5 mikuni jet in it, which flows the same as a 108 keihin. just means i can get my head around the diferent carb specs a bit easyer now.
  14. ok, bike running very good at low to mid range, think the top end needs some tweeking though....so.....anyone out there know if a mikuni main jet of say #95, flows the same as a keihin#95? guess some of you will think why compare? just put bigger or smaller jets in and have done with it, and that is true, but was just curious as to weather the number gradings were in any way similar?
  15. john at ty-trials has loads of honda spares too.

    Tlr 200 Gearing

motu, i got mine direct from uk along with some other trials stuff....came within a week. the place i used was www.trialsbits.co.uk , and the prices were exellent.
  17. bugger, had the carb apart today and the needle fell out....along with a tiny plastic washer. question is, does the washer go under the needle clip, or on top? it's needed some where in there to make up the depth of the counter bore in the slide as the depth of the counter bore is more than the thickness of the clip (if you get my drift). the washer is around the same thickness as a clip groove....so getting it the right or wrong side will make a difference. i put it back in with washer under needle clip and had a quick blip around the garden and it seemed ok. will see what a longer test reveals. tried to look for an exploded veiw of the pz22, but nothing came up.
  18. hey broony, i would think your looking at half a thousandth of an inch minimum, and 1 thou' max. .0005"-.001"
  19. tee why, guess if your forks are rebounding too quick you need thicker oil in them, try 15 or even 20 grade as some old bikes used to use ATF in the forks, which is 20 grade. thanks for spring advice on the TLR, the ones on it are non standard as far as i can tell, and too stiff, same with the dampers, which is why i'd like some complete new units.....just deciding what the spec should be, i'm 90 kg with gear on. will try njb, they could proberbly tell me exactly what i need. 390 long are standard, are there longer ones available to quicken the steering? cheers
  20. i will be interested in the replys to this, as i'm on the lookout for some shocks for my newly aquired tlr200, and was wondering about spring selection.

    Honda Engines

that's worth knowing, i just fixed the k/s stop on mine.
  22. thanks for that rollox. i googled pz22 and it's a dead ringer for this carb, are they a 'copy'....if so i'm guessing the genuine mikuni jets will fit? seems to run good, i'll know better after the weekend when i'll have a go at some proper sections.
  23. that was my toughts mark, but not been a mikuni expert, i thought i would put it out there for more comment.
  24. hi guys, have a look at these pictures of the carb on a tlr 200 i just bought. not sure if a genuine mik or not? there's no numbers on it, but it has pilot fuel screw rather than the usual tlr pilot air screw set up.what ever, it starts and runs real nice, just wondered if it was a known tlr mod, or something someone has tried on their own and it works.
  25. I think they give you the '2mm'btdc as an easy measurement, as it saves you setting up a degree disc to do it via crank degrees.
