back in the early '70's, my mate had a bantam 3 speed. Can't remember what sprox we were running, but it would climb anything and was bullet proof......sh*t we were kids and couldn't break it!!!!

thanks Christian for the invite......I'm in New Zealand, so would be a huge trip to get there.
-
some cracking old bikes there.....would also like to ride with a flat cap instead of a helmet too.
-
Mick Andrews....totally besotted by trials....and good beer, TOP MAN.

Hi Furse,
looking good and can see where your coming from regards the gearing .The only other thing (s) I would be looking at is the swing arm.....a little longer, and ya bashplate looks a bit wide at the front....may be just camera angle. Motor sits in there real nice though..well done.
-
that's one HUUUUUUGE sprocket
-
sounds interrrrresting, keep us up to speed with the build.....pictures would be great.
-
you sure that's Don Smith.....there's no ciggie in his mouth!!!!!!?
-
didn't know bantam gearbox's fitted C15's. Never too old to learn something new....
-
still waiting patiently for pictures of this marvelous cub!!!!
-
-
might be a daft question....but why not just put complete 350 motor in there?
-
hey collyolly, never used that belgom, but heard it it very good. if you only got autosol...just polish/seal it after with a good wax polish used for car paint.
-
Kin 'ell Joe, that's up there on price.....but I know how good your refurbs of your bikes are....so this will be primo quality.
-
Name your bike...it will help with the answers
-
An easyer check might be to try a known good carb if you have access to one.
-
Was the bike parked up for a long period between working well and not? If the pilot does turn out to be blocked, then it sometimes needs the jet prodding clean with a .016" guitar string.....never had to do this myself, but have read about it on various Brit bike forums.
-
if it's silicon it will be up to the heat no problem......silicon gasket and silicon baking trays stand realy hot temps, so a wee doobery on the outside of your casing will be a doddle.
-
Think Black cat cub Tony in Usa runs a Dell on his immaculate Cub. Hopefuly he'll be along in a bit to help you out.
-
Nice bike....why screw around with it......just get out and ride.
-
THAT.....has got to be one of the neeeeeetest C15's I have ever seen.
-
I've had BSA road bikes, singles, twins and triples, plus an A65 race outfit.....believe me, nothing is ever a straight bolt on out the box fit.
-
think the longer headers give you better low end power and torque....just what the trials doctor ordered
-
from my understanding, the heavy flywheels are better for low rev slogging
-
OK, bit of back ground on they thinking behind this one please....for us new to TY175's. Thanks
