  1. westie

    300 gasgas

Roddy if your at the club trial next Sunday at kinlochleven you can try my bike a standard 300 with weight on it is very smooth to ride.
  2. Well how was it this year then to hard or to easy or does this depend on who you ask?
  3. In the 2006 season youth A,B i took my son to all the youth rounds the only season where it didnt clash with our own nationals the total miles that season 7,320 he was no top runner but enjoyed the experience and made a lot friends along the way on a very limited budget they are only kids for a short time and you will never get these years back , we never went to Bracken rocks that year but it was one of our favourite venues over the past few seasons just to let you know we left Lochaber on Saturday last year for the IOW round mid morning and was back home for work at 7 am Monday but not so sure you will have to make that trip .
  4. Any results yet who came 2nd 3rd ect.. after Garry ?
  5. Thanks davieboy you are right it is hard to please everyone and it very rarely happens I spend most of my spare time being involved with trials setting out observing taking photos for the club and sometimes the occasional report for the local paper and i have had my fair share of negative comments in the past. Going back to the topic starter i thought the green and yellow route on sunday were spot on the blue and red routes i thought was very demanding forget about Garry as he is on a different level to everyone in our National events and hopefully nobody will set trials to give him a hard day as the rest of the riders would be lying in bits as well as there bikes out with him the best scores on the blue and red route were just short of 60 but no complaints of it being to hard i think thats because when entering these classes riders know what to expect. Craiglash is one of our best venues in Scotland and hope to return and ride it next year Good luck to davieboy for Sunday hope all goes well i unfortunately will not make it as i am of for a small break but will be back to help at the Pollock national observing , entry is over 100 at present and should be a good warm up for the SSDT.
  6. I find it disturbing that the secretary would use that type of language and make such a derogatory comment to a fifteen year old youth rider over a comment that, at the time, was made in jest to the CoC Graham after he rode the last section. Even more alarming is that an SACU official responded by applauding this. Just to be clear I was actually at the section when the comment was made along with many others.
  7. Just a few points The big headed one droped an average of 25 marks per round last year and over 90 at the lochaber round in glen nevis so his comments are not far of the mark The BAMCC national this weekend was exelent and hope this will be the bench mark for all the rounds Two years ago no pre - 65 or twin shocks entered the Lochaber national youth/twin shock round yet some rounds get a good entry
  8. It would be nice to have a British youth round in Scotland while Scotland is still part of the U.K
  9. Join the Lochaber & district MCC they will give you a form for a SACU licence there next trial is the Ian pollock National at Kinlochleven come along and have a look.
  10. It would be nice to see the unlucky list
  11. I think he will be in C class and its 80cc max
  12. 3&1/2 slide 45 , 118 main and pilot jets jjh needle try that as thats what we run.
  13. You would n`t go wrong with the Beta 200 to start with then.
