  1. hi danny, i just popped down to hook woods, but you had left by then. It was around 6 o'clock, i had just finished work, when will you be around the area next time? i would like to take you up on your offer, and thank you for the offer,,,, Just a quick question, how did you gain access to hook woods? there seems to be a gate covered in barbed wire there? do they open this at certain times or do you need permision to access the site? Many thanks................... stu
  2. thanks Enrico for the info, i will pop down to one of the events soon to see how its all done and to get a better idea about the sport, i will take a look on the sites you have mentioned, Also J.A.M sport is relatively close to us in Farnham,,,, so i will pay them a visit this weekend. As you say condition primarily comes before model year. Is there any thing major that i should be aware of when purchasing a used trial bike do i need some sort of identification with it or is it just a sold as seen receipt..... Thank you for your helpful input, it has really inspired me even more........
  3. ok thanks for the tips,,, there is a dealer in farnham close to where i live that sells both beta and gas gas and i would imagine they stock parts and service equipment for them, it might be worth a look, Thanks.
  4. Hi all my name is stuart and i have been riding bikes since i was 5 im no stranger to super moto's, enduros and sports and naked road bikes but trial biking is completely new to me. After a nasty scare on my super moto a few months ago ( relating to the bike taking a horizontal lie down with me on it) i have decided to sell my much loved toy, and try and find another expensive, adrenaline filled, slightly slower way of fun to take up my free time and to meet some interesting people along the way. My bike will be for sale shortly after a few problems have been ironed out, so i will be on the hunt for a bike,,, what bike to get ?????????? im 6ft2 and average build. i was heavily into BMXing back in my teens so i still think i can throw a bike around a bit but not on the levels some of you boys mite be on,,,, i can hang on to a pokey bike but i dont need some thing uncontrolable,,,, like in the enduro world the ktm 525 is over kill but the 450's are good fun without sapping all your energy in the first 20 mins trying to keep you and the bike vertical. so all your help will be greatly received,,, im thinking maybe a gas gas or beta maybe 250???? what year's are best 2005 2004 ect?? i will probably have in the region of £1500 pounds to spend. Also i have been trying to locate a club in surrey or near to it to try and find info but im not really having much luck. I would like to come and see some of you guys in action, but as i said the info is hard to find.... CHEERS GUYS AND GALS........
