  1. Not to sure about that , who else is going to win a world championship for them, there's only Raga and Cabestany left to buy!
  2. I think Honda have one goal in Trials and that is to win world championships at any cost. They appear to have little interest in developing junior riders or selling bikes to the the whole trials community, otherwise there would be 125, 200, 250, and 280 models of the 4rt. They continue to buy established world champions off the smaller companys, ie Dougie and Laia, and basically you can't blame the riders for being lured by the dollars. All we really need is for them to buy Raga and we wont have a world championship. Maybe they should have to pay transfer fees to the smaller euro companys , but hey thats not going to stop them is it.
  3. I was only counting the World Championship which started in 1975, Lejeune won in 84 on his twin shock Honda[last twin shock ] However if you want to count the European championship which was the forerunner to the world championship and started in 1968 , you can credit Bultaco with another 4 titles and 2 extra riders. That makes 9 out of 17, not bad when they had no riders in 80 and 84, [sWM 1 from 8]
  4. Has to be the 325 Bultaco Sherpa T, 5 world championships, 3 different riders, hard to beat the facts [mont 1, swm 1, honda 3, fantic 0]
  5. What's to stop Doug , my guess is the bike, When you have the calibre of rider that Montesa has and they struggle to reach the final of any of the indoor events, surely the performance of the bike comes into question!
  6. Does the radiator have to be removed in order to remove the barrel on a 300, it looks like you may just be able to lift it without hitting the radiator Cheers Pete
  7. What thickness are the head spacers, I'm guessing at least 1mm Thanks Pete
  8. Hi I have an 05 300 that is a pig to start when hot, either one kick or twenty, JTT when you moved the pickup I assume you moved it closer to the flywheel, is it the electrical box that is held on by one allen screw and the case mounting 'stud' ? cheers Pete
