    315R Sump Guard

Hi bud, been their, and felt you pain, with the sump guard,, you will lucky to replace it with just threading the bolts in bit by bit,, ive tried heating it up till it glowed bright red and bending it,, squashing it down with the hole family sitting on the bike,, ratchting down the bike,, and even longer bolts,, but the best way for me, was to remove swing arm and refit the front bolts partly, and then get two speed clamps or u clamps, and clamp up the guard useing the centre frame to pull up against. use a bit of timber between the clamps and the guard,, (ps dont poke a sleeping bear and leave well alone next time) hope this helps

  9. If the pads are ok, and the systems well bled, you could try the water trick, Drag the brake for a couple of mins untill its nice a hot, then quickly tip some water on it hope this helps, clay
  10. Unless i was 100% sure its been serviced, the first thing i would do is treat it to a full service,, check the condition of the cable, and the throttle tube housing at the bars, (making sure its not been over tightend) and that its not full of grit, check the routing of the cable around the elbow going in to the carb and slide,, hope you sort it bud

  13. If it was me Bondy, i would tighten them up to half of the required torque, But in the correct SEQUENCE. Then fully torque them up, Ride a heat cycle through it, let it fully cool, then re,check, and re,torque if needed (just my two pence worth)

Hi looking for some help with the refitment of my 315 clutch plates, I know i have to alternate between the friction plates with the steel plates, But the cofusion starts with the diffrents between the cork type plates and the paper type,,,,Is there a correct procedure,,, do you use all the cork type first, and finish with the paper type? or mix them up?
