100 grams, that's only the weight of a small Actimel yoghurt drink, what are you, man or mouse!!! ;-)

Well if you can do better nickday1, get off your a*** and volunteer your services!
Fact, the ACU are running both No stop and stop allowed BTC championships next year.
-
Although I can be of no help with any suggestions, please keep us updated on the problem. I'm sure it may help in the future, with anybody that might have a similar issue.
Good luck in finding and curing the noise bikerdude2006fr.

Upload your pics to something like Photobucket, then copy the Img code and paste it into your reply. Hopefully that will work for you flappy.
-
Surfted, I really like the second picture of your bike, brilliant photo. Here's mine:

Great news, look forward to hearing how he gets on.

Very well put John Collins, I certainly appreciate (as I'm sure some others do), the difficulties you have faced and appreciate the hard work, you and others do for this sport.
It's disappointing that only 50% of the riders could be bothered to reply to your questionnaire. One could only assume, that the other 50%, weren't that bothered!
Here's to a successful 2013 British championship.

Take it back to the dealer and get them to sort it out, still under warranty.
Is something in the fan blade area, stopping it from turning?
-
Congratulations to our lads and lasses at this years Tdn. Well done to you all and to all those who helped and supported them.
-
This I would very much like to see, riders should only know what the observer has given, at the end of the Trial. Save the observer getting Aggro from some of the riders, which can only be a good thing.
-
Most odd, shame really, as they have some excellent riders. I would guess its most likely down to cost.
-
With the current exchange rate, that price on eBay is around £8570. Here in the UK, Pidcocks Honda, sale the Montesa 4RT Repsol for £6995, so it's quite a bit over and that's not taking into consideration a discount on that price. However, I guess in the States, if it's not officially imported normally, then if you were to do it yourself, with all the import duties etc, it would probably be about that price (only guessing, as I don't know your tax system).
As to whether it's the latest greatest, most advanced Trials bike available, It's the most advanced 4 stroke Trials bike. It's based on the original 4RT, that came out in 2005, however, Honda Montesa have refined and updated it over the years and in my own personal opinion, it is the greatest ;-) Many may disagree, but that's their right to do.
If you want to find Honda Montesa in the UK, you need to search, Pidcock Montesa, they are the UK importers.

Cheers fantic303,
Standard size is 25mm, where it joins the silencer. Maybe a shim could be made, to make it fit!
-
Does anybody know, if the new shape Termignoni silencer, will fit the standard diameter front Collector pipe?
-
-
Anyone running their 4RT, with the new shape Termignoni silencer? If so, what are your impressions and is it worth getting?
I currently have a Mitani Titanium front pipe and while servicing my bike, I got the chance to weight the rear silencer, pretty heavy, at around 1.8 kg. So I'm considering changing it to something else.
I know the Termignonii is very expensive, but I see it can be bought at a discount, so if anybody has it, your impression would be welcome. Also if it's not too inconvenient, could you weight it!
Cheers

Good to hear your enjoying your 4RT, love mine. Concerning the fan, it should turn off after a short while and then turn on and off as required, worth investigating
-
Surely these filters should be a replaceable item, or is it a case of replacing an expensive pump, just to get a clean filter?
-
Hi Peter,
Where is the noise comming from, top end or bottom end? If its top end, could well be the tappets, when was the last time you checked them?
-
Thanks Faultline, excellent video. As others have have said, the official FIM video are very flash, but actually show very little, only split second shots, so you don't get to see what the riders are doing and what they are riding over, very well.
Credit to your camera skill, perspective and video editing skills, that you can create a very watchable video, for us to enjoy.
Well done mate.
-
Well Dougie, you've been a great champion. Good luck for the future.
-
On the same thought line as me, like your idea and I think it's well worth it, if it stops even just one theft.
-
Desperately sorry for you Montesa622. I hope they catch the lowlife and hope you get the bike back.
On a side note, wouldn't it be a great idea, if when you enter a Trial, you had to present your bike at signing on, the bike would be check for frame and engine number, which could then be written on your entry form. Any descepancies could be followed up and be reported to the Police. I know it's not the clubs job to look out for stolen bikes, but in some instances, it could help.

Josep Banyeres is a good source for Mitani parts.
