I bought the bike, second hand, over here. Apparently there is/was a GAS GAS dealer/importer in Nicosia. As to the legality, or otherwise of using it, I won't be going anywhere near a public highway, I've got other bikes for that. However considering the amount of 12 & 13 year olds riding peds around Limassol, and the unregistered/unlicensed/uninsured/untaxed crossers tearing up the tarmac near me, I won't be losing any sleep over the matter! Whereabouts are you Nicos?

Hi Folks! I'm a Brit living in Cyprus, been here 5 years, enjoying the weather. Just bought myself a second hand Gas Gas 280 TXT, I probably own 50% of the trials bikes in Cyprus now. At the moment I have 3 road bikes, a Suzuki DRZ400E, plus the new addition. I'm new to trials, so I'll be pickin' your brains for a few pointers, to keep me on the straight and narrow. On the down side, there are no "Trials" to enter over here, on the plus side I live in the sticks and have, virtually, unlimited access to miles and miles of mountain tracks, less than 100yds from my front door. There are very few restrictions on where you can ride here, the only problem being, there are no soft landings, everything is rocks, gravel or hard pack, there is no mud! I suppose it's an incentive not to fall off! Look forward to talking to you all
