  1. Get yourself Beta p/n 1241757 800 then you could adjust w/o the screwdriver and not burn yourself either.
  2. This is an adjustment for where on the cam part of the shaft the rod gets pushed, it will change the engagement length of the clutch.
  3. I think what you really need to look at the the input specifications of the charger that came with your bike.
  4. You said that several plugs were tried, were they new spark plugs ? Try again with a new plug gapped to approx. 0.40mm If there is no spark then try the easy things first, wiring connections, spark plug cap and re-check all chassis and engine grounds with a meter. Good luck.

    Rotax 280 Squish

Check out the 2 stroke tuners handbook by Gordon Jennings. I think 1.35mm to 1.5 mm would be a good target.
  6. The first thing( cheapest tp try ) I would do is put in a new NGK plug gapped @ 0.45mm this smaller gap will lessen the load on the ignition.Maybe check your chassis earth this will only take a couple of minutes to clean up. If that does not work I think the next easiest thing to try is swapping out the HT coil / cdi box.
  7. I think the wipers from SKF KIT35M will work. You could also try Gas Gas p/n G280000 and maybe Fantic p/n 364.02.00.5390 Good luck and please post what worked.
  8. I think you mean that shielded bearings are used. I would replace with these same bearings.
  9. Go see your dealer and ask them what they use.

  11. Fuel smell at end of silencer confirmed or not ?
  12. I think you either have the bike flooded or you do not have any fuel going into the motor. If you stick your nose at the end of the silencer after you have kicked several times you should have a fuel smell.
  13. Motul Motocool factoryline coolant and Belray Super Dot 4 brake fluid.
  14. 1998 TX250 p/n M01417051 16mm gudgeon pin diameter
  15. TK carbs were used on some years of TY250. Check with your local Yamaha dealer for spare parts.
  16. A lot of Japanese riders are sponsored by Dunlop. If you check out what they ride the tires must be capable.
  17. jml The caliper does split into two halves, be careful not to loose the wee o-ring that seals both halves together.
  18. 50 to 1 , to 80 to 1 should all be fine. Regarding riding obstacles, you need to find some people to ride with. You will learn best in a group setting.
  19. 2006 to 2009 bikes are more or less the same.

    No Impeller ?

It is not the same crappy piece of plastic as the 2 stroke, it is a different part number 1620900 000
  21. I have had good luck using the silicone grease.
  22. There are banjo bolts complete with bleed nipples available. This would probably be the cheapest fix.
