It took me ages to get my rear wheel right. Getting it correctly spaced etc. on the hub, getting it central to the steering head and many other things had to be checked. As you say it does sit nearer to the right hand shock to the left. Mine does too but the actual wheel sits central in the swingarm. Here is a picture i took of mine for you.
Hope this is of help

just for the record, the swingarm and crankcases etc are not just simply painted, they are magnesium, much lighter than the std. alloy products. also many people like them for the fact that they have a special ltd. edition bike. i think its a great idea that they do this.

Hi Guys. Ive just got the Miller PVL ignition kit through for my triumph cub and the instructions are quite literally sh*te!! One guy i talked to said you need to split the engine cases to do the modifications needed and others say this is not needed. So basically. what do i do? and how do i do it. the miller instructions are'nt worth having really. thanks for any help.

Id reccomend Water Wetter. Costs a fortune but its bloody good stuff! And its pink!!
-
Im confused! because its welded to the centre box as the 07 bike should be, but it isnt possible to weld carbon fibre.

Was great to see so many people taking photos today! yours have come out really well! i think you got a couple of me so could you possibly post a link to the forum that you added your pictures too? thanks.

i know someone was making one that also holds petrol, and you can simply unclip it and tip it up to fill the std fuel tank again. On the other hand, three miles? a fair few trials do wayy more than that in one go on and off road!! But yeah, like i say someone was producing one

Im not sure about the fit for size etc. but your main problem would be all the contralls (choke and setting screws) being on the wrong side!!
-
Im pretty damn sure they have released it. its in the catalogue anyway!

It looks to me like a 2004 chassis, mainly because of the forks and plastics, im pretty damn sure gas gas wouldnt put a new development bike out with a silver frame etc. At the same time though, looks like a really nice build, well done that man.

Hi, Ive just bought a old Montesa to add into my collection of bikes but im unsure of the engine size and the year of the bike. Does anyone know anywhere that i can find out by the frame/engine numbers? they match and just incase anyone is so kind to do it for me they are, 29M02713 .... I know someone has literally just asked this question but the reply is all numbers beginning with 21M that made me double check and mine is definately 29M. many thanks.

It comes with a new model Sachs shock, reported by everyone i know that has one as feeling just the same as the 2006 Ohlins!!!
-
it is perfectly normal. it is the way these clutches (diaphram) work. They do rattle when the clutch is out however if it still rattles badly when the clutch is in this is not normal. hope this helps.
-
I tend to empty it, refil it then put the cap on and start the bike up for a few minutes, then i take the cap off and check its still full, if when it is full it throws a bit out of the breather pipe, dont worry, its normal Hope this helps

check out the gas gas upgrades and trick bits topic for mine. im still trying to get my camera fixed to take more recent pics.
-
my old gas gas did this, i found starting it up with the choke on then straight away rocking the bike about calmed the revs down

right, Frame is now black and all built up. Looks amazing. Ill get pictures up later this week hopefully. And the swing arm is powder coated. With it being the raga (magnesium) it was just painted. All the paint came off so i got it powdercoated.
-
ok another update guys. Ive now got a powder coated black frame!! im really happy with it. Ill post pictures up when ive got it fully built, (half built at the moment). I cant decide wether to go for 2007 plastics, any opinions? Thanks

ok. went out last night for a few hours, (4 to be precise) and when we first got there i felt like crying because i was going up a gully and the bike had absolutely no bottom end power at all. so..... back to the car we went and changed the pilot jet, and it was a different bike. then we went up to some big steps with tight turns at the bottom of them, with no run up the keihin is amazing!! it just revs so cleanly and to the skys. after a little bit of tinkering with the fuel mixture screw to get it perfect for the big steps etc. we went back to a few gulleys and tight turns in rocks and the bottom end was still pretty good. Not as good as the dellorto but still good, and with getting the extra top end power its well worth it. so yeah, id say its a great modification to a 125cc gas gas.
