  1. Making DVD's is a real minefield! It's not simple process and can take hours to do. Are you talking about converting footage shot from a camera or converting a format that's been downloaded? You will need several bits of software anyway, all nero will do is write it to the DVD. See Video Help for advice.
  2. Were you one of the people signing on the riders? I think I may have ridden just behind you in one of the sections, the one just after Gary from Highland Lesiure. It went tight right, up a step, tight left, up another step. Perhaps the trickest section in the trial. If that was you in the trailer I was the guy that asked the question about displaying the last three licence numbers on the front of the bike.
  3. As someone who will be making the move to Beta very soon, could you tell me what you need to check. You could perhaps start a new thread in the Beta forum? Thanks.
  4. Many members of the Armed Forces do ride trials, and all the other types of bikes. In recent years the Army have had a fairly big presence in the SSDT with back up from MRS amoungst others I believe? The RAF have entered a few riders but none from the Navy, at least as far as I know. Hopefully the RAF will have three riders next year on a bigger scale than the low-key approach we've seen in the past. Anyone want to sponser them for the SSDT and the other trials the team plan to ride then get in touch!
  5. Renthal chain works for me, use that with
  6. That's fine, it was a great trial, been a few years since I've been there, I really enjoyed it! Littestar. are you female? I bloody hope so with that avatar!
  7. I'm in K, there's got to be at least one more person thats as daft (and crap maybe?) as me... You know you want it!
  8. No chance of getting them on Trialscentral?
  9. And are Spudulike, one of The Slobs daughters from Harry Enfields show a few years back?
  10. I use 661 MTB gloves and they're sound, wouldn't say that they keep you warm but having said that I've never had cold hands either. Don't buy the Sealskinz gloves! I have a pair too and they're no godd for trials, no feel. Great for MTBing in winter but that's about it.
  11. You must have cold fingers, warmed em up by posting the same post four times eh!
  12. I know a guy of another website forum (www.visordown.com), he did my powdercoated my KTM wheels for just over
  13. I would like to say that I personally found the attack on Big John uncalled for and is really counter productive! It rings true with a post in another forum by Overthehill were he talks about hiding behind a pseudonym, taking pop-shots in the knowledge that no one knows who you are! A few years ago John was particularly helpful with an SACU/ACU licensing issue I had, with out his help I'm sure it would have been harder to resolve. John's comments seemed to me to be 'light entertainment'; I therefore read them as such, with a smile on my face! Shame others can't enjoy what was posted as general chit chat without feeling the need to go for the jugular!
  14. Really would like to know what bike this is.
  15. Where are you from montaco? Do you ride and if so, what club?
  16. Marky boys's got some nice one's on his site here. The tricked out Scorpa looks mint! It's been shown before but for those that have not seen it here's my KTM Supermoto!

    Rear Brake Help!

Back brakes are a pain. You can get repair kits for the master cylinder. It contains a new piston, seals and springs. It's really easy to change, once done back bleed with a syringe from the caliper. Try to do this either on the bench, i.e. with everything removed from bike (I serviced the caliper at the same time so had it removed) or with the bike in a near vertical position. I use tie-downs from the garage roof to the bars but as long as you can get the bike near vertical you'll be fine. This helps to allow the air to rise to the resi as you push the fluid through. Once bleed, leave it hung up for 24hrs with the brake pushed down. I also give evrything a bit of a tap with a hammer to knock any trapped air to the resi.
  18. Thanks, are you the Steve I think it is? Member No. 115 and 2 posts, been active on the forums then!
  19. Looking for a kind American to help save me some cash! I'm after a replacement lens for my Oakley ski goggles as they cost almost double in the UK. The problem is that many US dealers won't ship Oakley outside the US. Just wondering if I was to buy them and take advantage of the free shipping to a US address, would anyone be prepared to ship them to me in the UK? I'll obviously pay all costs, could send money by Paypal etc. Thanks.
  20. Its what Scorpa recomend. If I recall correctly its what Yamaha say to use in the TYZ manual as well.
  21. Same as I said, works a treat!
  22. I have visited the USA on several occasions connected with my job, a member of the UK armed forces. It's difficult to get in and that's with all the NATO/allies relationship and diplomatic clearance (once had a sniffer dog on the plane while some 200 passengers had to sit an wait for an hour and a half for it to do its thing, but that
