Bleeding is easy when you know how. Forget the tradtional method of pulling the lever then nipping the union. Get a syringe and some bleed tube. Take the lid of the resi and fill the syringe with fluid. Put the tube on the end of the syringe and then put the tube and syringe on the nipple. Crack the nipple and push the fluid back to the resi. Once the fuid is in the resi you can close the nipple and then fill the resi to the right level. Easy!

Imagine my surprise when I turned to page 22 in the ACU Sportmoto magazine to see Trials Central poster Big John grimacing on his Pre 65. I'm sure I saw that face the last time he bought a round of drinks.

While I think this is a great idea I can't see it ever taking off to be honest.

There's a guy called Alan Wright who sells new kit very cheap. Some of it is a few years old, god knows where he gets it, but its ok for most needs. Sorry, don't have a contact number. Sure someone will though.

My guess would be the bit of dirt in the main jet. When the engine is working hard it's the main jet that's giving it it's fuel. I too had a simliar problem once at a trial. Couldn't get the bike to rev clean on a long hill climb, it kept spluttering etc. Sure enough, a small bit of dirt was blocking the jet.
Not saying this is what's up with yours but if you've found some dirt then I think you may of sorted it.

Where do you get them from then?

The drain plug in an SY is a Scorpa mod. It's 13mm (I think?), this is (as far as I know) to allow it to be removed from the small hole in the bash plate. The original TYZ plug was/is 17mm.

It's a good couple of day's out on your bike. Not too hard but still challenging. Its does get oversubscribed though so FF was right on that one.

Why go to all that much trouble to strip the lights? Both the front and rear lights have a plug on them. Remove the lights at the plug, tape the plugs up and tie them out of the way. The front id tucked behind my number board, the rear is looped and tied to the underside of the subframe.

If I give my SY kickstart a good thump it hits the Hebo pegs I've got fitted. Way to avoid it is to give it a gentle kick! The Yam engine doesn't need a big kick like others. Simple.

It would seem that Laia had a coming together with a car on the peninsula, looking at the 50's on her results I'm guessing it was on the single track road between Kilmalieu and Rhuba Ruadh. She was took to hospital and received treatment to gravel rash, as far as I know. She was seen in the Westend Hotel later that evening and is ok.
Real shame for the lass, I bet this opens the debate about racing due to the lack of time etc.

Any scope to hold it 'behind the wire', if you know what I mean?

Agree with Dabster. I can't see the 4T been riden and risking points when the 2T is there and developed. We'll see though.

What is it you want to bring on? The frantic kicking tryng to get it started?
