I would imagine Halford's don't make it and whoever does will make it to a standard. I can't see it doing any damage, after all you're forks are not really high tech.

The ski areas in Scotland are pretty high up. I was at Cairngorm last week and there was snow but to be fair I don't think it's going to be a problem... Unless it snows some more!

This lad looks way to young!

The X11 can be tricky. If I could offer some advice? Put a tube in it for at least 24 hours before fitting, this will push the beads apart and make them sit easier when inflating for the first time. Look st a new X11 and see how close the beads are to each other.
Got to go with Dabster though. The beaders may seem expensive but they make fitting tyres a doddle. It's not that much cash when you spread it over the years.
You could also try a cycle tube?

I'm guessing 10W. I've got 10W in my Scorpa just now, it's fine. I believe 5W is the prefered but I can't notice the differance.

I've got the none flat bash plate and I have to use molegrips to put it on.
-
What an excuse to buy a van!
-
I've took the bolt out a few times on my '03 and it's always been fine. Easy to get out anyway if you want a look.
-
You want to speak to Kinell, he geared it up like a Fireblade for the '05 SSDT!
-
I run 75:1 with 747, normal unleaded petrol. No probs from my 03.

If you're offering then how can I refuse! As long as it goes better then the last job we did! Hopefully won't need to get the water board out for this one!
-
Very nice! I've got a TY350 imported from America (perhaps the only one in the uk?) that's waiting for me to pull my finger out and get it sorted!
-
Seem the same as last year to me. Are there any changes?
-
Still no results for this one then. Not like Bon Accord, they're normally on the ball.
-
Thats a clean bike! Did it take much to get it stripped and painted etc? Been thinking about doing something with mine, I was maybe going to go with the Yam yellow and black.
-
I dont supose you where riding with three mates? I spoke to some one at around section 6 & 7 (just after the tunnel/bridge), was that you?
-
Been away from the computer for a few days and only just checked this post. Guess I got lucky eh?
Not riding the Pollock this year, got my sister-in-law coming round. It can be hard going but it's not too bad really. As long as you ride at a steady pace then you'll be fine. Take no prisoners on the queues though, time can be tight. If you get the chance to ride before anyone else then take it. There will be people pushing in for sure.
Anyone else who's not riden I would advise them to take enough tools etc to get the bike home should something go wrong.
Got my entry through for the Loch Lomond Two Day today though!!!
-
I'll look out for you, what bike do you ride? I'll be on a Socrpa, SY 52 UPS.
-
Not easy to do at the Pollock, you need a bike to get round as it's a big trial. Only people that should have bikes on the hill are those taking part and those acting as offcials of the club/trial etc.
-
I can't get it either. I think you may be too late now anyway, sure the entry's needed to be in a week before. I'll PM you Ken Whittaker's number, he is sorting the entry's. I know the club is (always!) short of observers, you may get a ride if you can bring one.
-
Well, after stripping the bike it seems that there is no easy way to bleed the clutch, not that I can see anyway!! Bummer!
