    Tyz250's

I would say they're starting to gain popularity. I think they have the ability to become a bit of a classic, in a simliar way to the TY. Many trials riders have a soft spot for Yams! If you're looking to upgrade for riding pleasure then I think there maybe better bikes out there, it is an old bike and its quite heavy. That's not say that it can't do the biz though! They do hold there price and for the same money you could get a bike thats much younger.
  2. Got to say that 2-2.5 inches seems a bit much to me IMHO. I go for around 10mm, which is about the size of a finger I suppose.

    Chaffing!

Sorry I've took my time to respond to this one Austini. No, this is not common and it shouldn't happen. I can't look at my bike to tell you the right way as I'm working away from home but I'm sure someone can help?
  4. I agree with R2, boards reduce hold ups to a minimum. With cards you get folk waiting as the obserever punches them.
  5. remind me never too buy anything off you! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, that kind of attitude sucks big time!
  6. Love to go Ishy but 10 hours is a bit too far.
  7. No takers in the Vegas area then? What about near Hill AFB in Utah. If memory serves me right its about 20 miles from Ogden. Moving up there around 22 Feb, any riders out that way?
  8. Been mentioned quite a bit. I'd use the search facility and do some digging. Dabster is the man to ask. There's a comprehensive guide on Ryan Youngs Sherco site too. I suspect you'll need to replace the rim tape. If your doing that then I'd get the wheels powder coated aat the same time!! It can be a pain the first time but it's not hard really.
  9. Looks like TYZ forks, front wheel disc etc. Sub frame also looks like a TYZ and I would say the rear mudguard and silencer are off a TYZ too.
  10. Looks like I'm off to Las Vegas with my work this Thursday, any trials riders there that want to meet up?
  11. I'd like to give it a go Andy.
  12. Kinell's not riding. Have to approach him about doing a charity ride at the Scott though...
  13. No excuse for bad spelling or grammar unless you can't be a***d to sort it. Cut and paste in to word, then spell check, cut it back. Of course there's times when we all make mistakes but there's a differance between a valid attempt and text talk. Going back to the fence now, feel like a sit down.
  14. Stand correctd then! I think there's more chance of missing a group than a section though. Once you've found the group the sections fall in to place. I had to double back on Monday to find a group above Kinlochleven.
  15. This is wrong, or at least it was last year. Miss a section and you're out, plain and simple!
  16. I've got loads of these stickers plus others. Email or PM me.
  17. Just tried calling the ACU to see where my licence is and it appears they're closed between Christmas and New Year. Can any one tell me if my licence number will be the same as last year please?
  18. 2003 according to his web site bio. I'm sure I posted a link to the winning show some time sgo, I can't find it though.
  19. Priceless! That's after being told that he's a two times world champion at the start too!
  20. Made from the same material Charlie, both aluminum.
  21. This is easy to do. Just push the shaft through the bottom of the yoke. The yoke will push the bearing up. You might want to heat it first. This is how Birks told me to do it and it worked fine. No need to go hell for leather with hammers etc.
  22. Why don't you just move your boot out to the right a little when you've finished with the brake? Isn't this what everyone else does?
  23. I know I'm leaving my self open to a slating here but why should your average club man have to spend more so that the odd one or two talented youths can benefit? I realise that they should get support but I dont' think it's fair that it should come from the pockets of other riders!
