I'd be riding the Clubman/easy/B route anyway, shouldn't be too bad should it? How would it compare to the TC trial Neonsurge?
-
Suppose I left my self open to that one!
There's a thought. Can I get an entry or do you need to be a member?
-
Off south for some trialing action! Riding with Guisbourgh at Charltons on the 7th then on to the Jersey two day trial on the 13/14th. Will I see anyone else at any of these trials?
-
My SY came with short levers as standard, and they

Be carful with the Hebo Helmets, their sizing leaves a lot to be desired. I have a large Shoei, before that I had a XL Hebo Zone. I had to get rid of it because it was too small and was giving me headaches. Thats an XL!
-
I don't use a beader, but then I have got a supply of Nitrogen at about 3600 Psi! Just throw about 200 Psi in, just seems to push the side walls out with out any bother
Interesting point about Mont wheels though. Is there any draw backs on them? Seems really sensible to me, having the spokes that way.

Here we go again! Andy, perhaps you need to put a full review on all the bikes?
-
It would be nice to see pics of the battle damage Mark, and the bash plates too Vinnie.
-
Perce is there, pic 07 and Scottie is pic 22.
-
People that use pics of their bikes for avatars are gay, its official, my mate told me. Said he'd read it in The Sun.
-
This has got to be one of the sadest replys to any I've read on here! How can you slate somebody for choosing to make something for their bike over buying an expensive part from a dealer? And then to blame the guys that do for the demise of dealers? I've seen it all now!
-
Forget trials gear, buy mountain bikeing gear, its much better. Most if not all of the jackets have a long back too.
-
The young lad on the right of the third pic by Ian J, Wild stab but is it Marc Colomer?
-
Thanks. Tell him I want some TC discount too, after all, we're allies in war and the rest of the world hates us!
-
Seen these smart looking titanium fork protectors on the tryalsshop.com web site. Does any body know if they're available in the UK?
Also, I've been sending e mails to the guys at tryalsshop.com but have not got a reply from any of them. Just wondering how much it would be to mail them over to the uk?
Anyone help?
-
Wonderboy? Has he got a bike? Does he ride it?
-
Reading a few replys here, there's no doubt that being a good rider makes a differance. However, I guess that you're asking for a comparison between bikes with the same skill level of rider. Well, I've never tried out a Gas Gas but in my opinion I would rate the Scorpa SY first, then Beta Rev 3 with Montesa Cota very close behind. Sherco (270cc) at the end.
The guys I ride with have often remarked how much grip the SY finds, in fact one of them has even called the bike "Mr Grippy".
-
Now I'm getting scared!!!
-
There's a few bits in the Scorpa parts catalogue, you can find it by linking through the Scorpa web site.
-
So what the hell is a "chuck" then?
-
If he's got the racing model then it must be an SY. Luke, are you shure its the racing? They all have graphics that say "Racing"
You say that you want to get more power out of your Scorpa when you get it, then say you've got a Racing already?
-
You off back to Spain in the near future Dabster? Sounds like you could mack a bit of money here!
-
Go on, have a punch up! The Michelins are a nightmare, I always put a tube in for at least a few days before fitting to spread the beads. Never tried using one of the little gas cartriges, anyone know if they will work?
-
God no!! From what I hear its a hard trial!! Maybe see you in Ft William next year though
-
Vinnie, I never got any manuals when I bought my SY. I e mailed Scorpa in france and they sent me a pdf for the bike. I also contacted Crosser and he sent me a hard copy of the bike manual plus a manual for the forks.
