You may have air in the system. Check the fluid level and/or bleed, using correct fluid.
-
Fine for my pointy bits too and they're holding up to being thrown on the washer afterwards.
-
I've seen this before when one was run at sustained high speed on a road, I think a company made aluminium replacements.
-
Same carb and timing settings. Wish I'd kept my 200.
-
A; Check clutch lever clearance.
B; Check plate thickness.
C; Check clutch spring length.
D; Check the sprockets have teeth on.
-
Valves need to be closed, not rocking, to check valve clearances.
-
Mine did the same, noticed before any damage.
-
Flywheel inertia effects engine acceleration / deceleration. Maybe their bike didn't have an additional flywheel weight and yours is running as it should.
-
Try high octane petrol first.
-
I went up to next size pilot jet, but still get slight detonation using BP petrol 95 RON. My 2014 did the same but I put up with it, as it only did it above 1/2 throttle, which I don't visit often. The bigger pilot definitely gives a bit more grunt at very low rpm and reduces stalling.
The throttles are very light on Keihin equipped Racing models possible due to the fancy throttle tube outer roller bearing they come with as standard.

The computer/Speedo will need a wire or two, depending on sensor type, to a sensor on either wheel (preferably front) these could be the ones from block connector. Fof indicators why not add another wire connected to the live side of your light switch to provide power to your indicator switch then add your own wiring circuit for indicators. Include a 5A in line fuse in the circuit too.
-
Is the 3 wire block connector not for the flasher unit and the three at the rear the original stop/tail and earth wires. Did you connect your rear lights with your own wiring?
-
The parts manuals used to have wiring diagrams in, might be worth a search. The low voltage you describe sounds like residual voltage or do you possibly have your volt meter on wrong setting range or ac/dc.
-
Try shortening the spring then stretch it to the original length. Shortening makes springs firmer.
-
I've used different makes, but established brands.
Some heat ratings are scaled opposite e.g. an 8 will equal a 2, 9 equals 1. So care is needed. I used a grass cutter plug as a get home repair with no bad effects and the bike ran as normal.
-
Has it got the correct size chain link, is it wider or are the plates a different profile to the chain links?
-
Had one, now have a 2015. No difference. Both great bikes. The 2015s front brake master seals went after 6 months. Pull the lever gently, if it creeps back to the bars it needs attention, new seals fixed mine, but I've heard of people fitting cylinders to cure.
I wish all the other bikes had the same clutch fitted, it should just need a light pull, if it's heavy, it needs attention.
-
As lineaway said, check your chain. I had same on a Beta, renewed chain and sprockets, noise stopped

Put the two thermostat wires together then start it up. If the fan spins it'll be the thermostat. If it doesn't it may be the fan, but try a test bulb to the thermostat supply wire first (better than a meter as it'll show if the supply has enough guts to run the fan).
-
TRS. So you can tell me if it's better than a Beta.
-
Paint the mudguards white is another option. I've seen repainted plastic petrol tanks lose the paint and even new ones from the manufacturers.
-
Welcome to an alternative world of escapism.
It's a great distraction from everyday hassles.
Like you, I used to find road riding a bit boring with nothing to aim for, whereas this takes all the concentration my feeble brain can manage.
Get started, learn the basics, enter a trial and you won't look back. Good luck.

I've done a few rod renewals, but not a Beta. You need access to a press (up to 20 ton) a lathe, a DTI, feeler gauges, vernier calipers or suitable micrometer and a big copper mallet.
If you don't have all of those, hand it to someone who rebuilds cranks.

I had an early 09, the petrol filler was offset to the left. A friend bought a late 09 and his had a bare aluminium frame with the filler mounted vertically.
Your frame could have be an 09 that has been coated
