Sherco I am sure is a good bike althouth cannot (leagally register/title) New purchace in my state -USA. Have some time on a 15 Beta and feel confident there will be no remorse on my end (clutch mods were done). Just looking for a stable brand that can test the time and Beta seems to be it.

Are you guys removing part # 9&10 prior to removal of the fork cap's? Have taken two pairs of forks apart in the past and have not messed with (9&10), just wondering if I am doing something wrong.
-
Are you refering to number 9 & 10 on the parts diagram? Have never removed so called set screw before and am wondering if I should in the future on a new fork.

F1 is a tall order but stil a solid goal. Electronics as well as being to tig weld will be a solid thresold.

Economy model, new motor 2010 frame.

I used a bicycle air pump connected to the breather hose, slowly inflate till dent starts to pop. Also suggest to leave tank bolted to the frame when you do this to minimise distortion. If I remember correctly mine took about 25psi before dent started to pop with 2/3rds of a tank of gas in there.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a pair of Sidi discover rain, seem a little stiff but sure they will provide alot more protection. If they don't work out for trials pretty sure they will work out well for the street bike.

I really liked my gaerne boots but just after ones years worth of riding they are pretty much shot. Have to admit I have only oiled them up three or four times in a year. Torn leather, soles worn out, very little protection but feel great. One of the best fitting boots I have ever owned but will try another brand next time. Wanted to try Sidi but am not hearing very good feedback at this point. Anyone try the sidi discovery rain for trials? Looks like better protection but might be too stiff, what exactly is wrong with sidi soles?
