  1. Better still search regs available in TMX and find a trial to ride in! Clubs spend hours finding land and organising events for YOU to ride in.
  2. If you're a youth you can't ride a 250!
  3. Correct westie, the lad is "C" class and can only ride a maximum 80cc bike.

Where are you looking? There are trials in the East Midlands every weekend and they all cater for youth riders. Dates for all East Midland trials are on their web site here.
  6. .............and some think we should break with tradition and hold trials on Remembrance Sunday! Do you still?
  7. So if you dont take your feet off the pegs when you use your knee of leg on a rock or tree does that not count? IT'S A ONE!
  8. In my opinion the observer is 100% correct. I have docked riders for doing that at Club, National and World level. The rule book quite clearly states that if a rider benefits from any part of his body touching the ground etc........... To put it into context you don
  9. Benj, your local ACU Centre web site. here with all local clubs and dates. David.
  10. There is no need to seal rim tape, just remove tape, thoroughly clean wheel and tape, lather tape with tyre soap and refit, seal valve with silicon, lather tyre with tyre soap and refit - no leaks guaranteed!
  11. Tap the pointed handle end of a small file, or similar, into the nipple and turn it out. Or a garage should be able to remove it with a device called an "Easy Out"
  12. Check out the East Midland Centre ACU there are several local clubs and also a full list of dates - there are several trials in the area each weekend.
  13. You may well need planning permission for changing the use of the land.
  14. Club secretary is Greg Moor, 4 Aspley Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts NG17 2DE phone 07771 853787 email suttonfalcons@hotmail.com Hope this helps. David
  15. I would be flattered if I were to receive
  16. Yes, that's it. The place is called Easton Neston and was owned by Lord Hesketh. Me and my son were regular attenders at the filming of Kickstart and Junior Kickstart, sometimes enroute to the British GP practice at Silverstone. Those were the days Eddy Lejune in the morning and Freddie Spencer in the sfternoon.
  17. Well done idmcc, a perfect answer and just what I was thinking all the way through reading the thread. And as for Jimmy, you wont get away with half a second when I'm observing and as for going backwards - the biggest FIVE possible.
  18. Thanks for your comments Motosinge83, much appreciated. David.
  19. Sorry Pete, but "......a boulder that's been dislodged by someone else and is sitting smack on your line" stays in the section. I would five any rider that moved it - and then put it back! Us observers have to have some fun.
  20. Meg quarry is strictly limited for practice now, since it changed hands, you need to speak to the club at a trial.
  21. I trust you'll be trying it out at Lincoln on Sunday.
  22. Lincoln MC&CC, Peterborough MCC and Pegasus MCC are the three nearest in the East Midland Centre. All three run three routes and cater for all solo classes, Lincoln & Peterborough run conducted routes for the little uns. Peterborough & Pegasus tend to be a bit easier than Lincoln but all are recomended, all are within an hours drive. Hurry up and get down here as Lincoln are holding a trial on 4th March and Pegasus on the 18th March. Full East Midland Centre dates can be found on their website. Contact me for further details.
  23. I agree with scorpa3 entirely. Surely a rider that can ride the section without the necessity to stop to regain balance or composure/confidence before attempting a step or climb etc. has performed better than the rider that needs to stop. Therefore the penalty for stopping is correct. Do your hopping front and rear by all means but maintain forward motion at the same time. TSR22a is the best and fairest set of rules we have ever had if they are observed correctly!
  24. If I could understand what you were saying Chader, I might reply! Or is that progression too?
