  1. I seem to remember the minder of a top line rider cooling his man by wafting a folded copy of the Sun* in front of his face while he queued at a section. I suppose that would work if you can afford to hire the staff.

    * other papers are available to suit your political leanings if you so wish.

    How can something full of hot air cool somebody?  :huh:

    This is wrong! Preloading the spring will change the effective spring rate.

    and#160;

    With the bike on the ground with no rider I aim for about 1/2 to 1 inch of sag at the rear guard. It should not be locked out with no sag and anything more than an inch you are loosing movement and upsetting the balance of the bike.

    No, YOU are wrong. Spring rate is mesured in N/mm and you can't change that no matter how far you turn up the pre load.

    "Spring Pre-load and spring rate - CHANGING PRE-LOAD DOES NOT CHANGE SPRING RATE. You don’t get a stiffer spring by adding pre-load. Rather you change the weight point at which the spring starts to move. Once the spring starts to compress it will move at its spring rating."

  3. Like cleanorbust I also have an Airoh TTR and although it's very well ventilated, I also still sweat a lot. It's the nature of the beast I guess.

    Even without a helmet riding in my backyard, or at other strenuous activities I sweat a lot.

    The new Jitsie should also be very well ventilated I'm told.

  4. From the Belgian GasGas importer:

    'Dear customers, despite the difficulties, we wish to inform our customers that we are always able to provide all spare parts Gas Gas you need.

    Furthermore, we can tell you that on October 18, we will communicate to you the name of the buyer of the Gas Gas firm in Spain.

    We therefore hope to count on your trust and see you soon to start a great season in 2016!'
