  1. The thermostat is there for a reason. Your engine might not reach its optimum working temperature. Also: Why would you want to do it?
  2. The new rules for 2015 aren't available yet
  3. How does one skim them? Is there a special tool for that?

  5. A very welcome announcement from the Belgian Motorcycle Union: "After a thorough evaluation showed that it was better for our national competitions to return to normal 'stop' formula."

    Vertigo Launch

Fuel injection always requires a pump. One of the advantages of EFI is you've got the possibility to use different maps as mentioned in the advert from Vertigo.
  7. They've been delivering the 2015's for two months now in Belgium.
  8. I think we need a little more of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XBnj80nRpo#t=185
  9. The same goes for my 2015 4RT
  10. I meant compared to other trials bikes of course, sorry. You're only about an inch taller than me so normal handlebars shouldn't be a problem.
  11. The play in the front rotor is normal. Compare it to other bikes when you get the chance, if it's about the same, no worries. If the leak in the exhaust bothers you, get it welded, otherwise ignore it. A little up and down play in the swing arm bearings is normal on a GasGas but you should check if all the bearings (swing arm and it's dog bones, wheels and headstock) are greased properly and not corroded. Replacing the bottom out rubber isn't that easy, you need to remove the spring and the upper mounting eye of the rod. Regarding the bars: how tall are you?
  12. Got one for my new 4RT too, which is also a rev counter for setting the idle speed.
  13. Is there a special technique other than removing the magneto cover to change the oil filter?
  14. Ours is not to wonder why, but to do and die. No serious, I don't know either, but it works. Maybe it boils the gunk out of the pads?

    Vertigo Launch

Hats off to them? I think that's the least that we should expect of them, of any brand for that matter.
  16. When the engine gets warm there certainly is some pressure in the cooling system, the overpressure protection, or overflow as you call it, opens at about 1 BAR or 14.5 PSI. One trial with the fan hard wired shouldn't be a problem.
  17. I like the sound of the 4 stroke engine in my Montesa Cota 4RT It's built to last. It's got a wide power band. The power is easy to control. It's a bit more comfortable to ride on longer distances on the road. It's got modern fuel injection. No need to mix oil-fuel. Only downside is the weight.
  18. My mate David also knows how to ride his little Honda: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqqXyxlGOBM

    Erratic Running

I also would replace crank seals first, also check the slide of the Bing, i'm told that top riders used to replace the slide every 3 races. clutch spring compressor:http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/gallery/image/2481-bultaco-clutch-spring-compressor-001/
