I've just converted the front brake on my 2012 GasGas to a 2013 style brake.
As far as I can tell the 2013 style rubber cup and o-ring have the same dimensions as the 2012. At least on the brake of my GasGas.
So I guess if one would combine a new 2012 style clutch piston kit from GasGas (only the rubber cup and o-ring) with a 2013 Sherco clutch piston kit and lever, you can still use mineral oil.
Correct my if I'm wrong please...

How did you know I was a mountainbiker!?

I hope you're not combining a worn chain with a new 10T sprocket? If this is the case the chain will want to "ride" on the top of the sprocket tooth with possible dire consequenses

What year are these bikes? There has been problems with the Formula brakes

I had something similar from Acerbis and I didn't like it at all: way to bulky and uncomfortable

GasGas manuals aren't the most comprehensive but it's the first thing you should get BEFORE you do anything on your bike

This bike tips the scale at 65 kg and should loose some more weight in the future.
I wonder how it wil cope in real life but if your looking for bling this is the ultimate I guess.
The fuel tank and air filter swapped places, lots of carbon parts: wheels, handle bars, sump guard...
I have my doubts about the belt drive in regards of mud build up...

This must be the best reply I've ever read on this forum

Hi everybody!
The engine of my Gasser makes a rattling noise and when I pull the clutch, the noise is gone.
Could someone tell me if this is normal, or is there a problem?

Thanks!
(my apologies for the poor video and sound quality: cheap camera)

He clearly can't, otherwise he wouldn't crash. On a flat top he can, i'm sure...
-
It's a free country, he can buy whatever he wants
-
It sounds like his engine wouldn't rev up properly
-
Why make it more difficult by using a tire that's at an angle?
-
But if you want a durable bike, get a Montesa 315R or a 4RT

When money's not an issue I wouldn't go for an older bike. The newer ones ride better.
The TXT Pro is the standart model, the racing has some trick parts, for instance Titanium exhaust and the Raga even more trick parts like lighter triple clamps...
You could have found this here: http://www.gasgasmot...s/en/trial.html
The 280 has a more aggressive power delivery, the 300 is very strong, lots of bottom power but more cotrolable so i'm told (lots of info about this on the Gasgas forum)

I fixed two similar side wall cuts with this: http://www.notubes.c...-Quart-P51.aspx
(It's not as sticky as the slime stuff, easyer to remove from the rim)
But I don't know if you can get a hold of it. Bij U in zuid afrika :-)
It's well known by mountainbikers
