    2014 Montesa?

    http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/43958-montesa-2013-nothing-new/
  2. To avoid any problems with the "modern" fuels I use Alkylate fuel in my Cota 4RT and Bultaco Sherpa (plastic tank): http://www.aspenfuel...lkylate-petrol/
  3. And as for a thick film of oil in the barrel: I used a modern semi synthetic two stroke oil at 80/1 in my Cota 315R and when I opend the engine there was a nice firm oil film on the inside of the barrel, so I don't see the advantage of a classic SAE 40 at oil at 30/1...
  4. Mmmmmm? Looks like thye're still alive and kicking... http://www.hebo.com/
  5. No worry's mate (I was also wondering wat it looked like)

  7. Or the new SKF seals for the same reason...
  8. I read somewhere that the original mounting plate/bracket could rust over time (due to condens water and the crap thats in modern fuel). So cutting a V out of it and welding it back makes the mounting plate even more vulnerable to corrosion. And while your at it, clean the tea-bag filter that's fitted under the fuel pump. I used carburettor cleaner for it.
  9. Yes they are universal and easy to fit.It replaces the original kill switch one on one. It's probably necessary to replace the connectors. When in doubt, ask someone for help to fit it. There should be a wiring diagram included with the magnetic kill switch.
  10. Damn, you've got me there. Thank god for 'edit'. And if I make an other mistake, I can always use the excuse that I'm from Belgium
  11. Punctuation, it's not just a good idea, it's the law.
  12. I use SAE 80W90 transmission oil (API GL5). Should be better for colder conditions. Sae 90 or 80W90 also reduces the noise level from the gearbox a bit better than the thinner 10W40 or other multigrade Motorcycle oil. For the clutch I use GRO Gear Extreme 75W, which is a light full synthetic transmission oil. It made the clutch in my Cota 4RT very smooth with almost no drag, even when cold, so it should be fine for my Sherpa which has modern friction material on the clutch plates.
  13. Aha, sorry, I was confused by the question mark... And do you have a link to their website? Can't find it on http://www.hondaproracing.com/world_trial/ or http://www.honda-montesa.es/ or even http://www.tonibou.es/
  14. Euh... come again...???
  15. Wouldn't make much difference imo. The rider has the skilzz, determination, practice hours etc... and he and his team play a great part in the bike set-up, so...
  16. I didn't know Hebo (still) made Montesa gear. By the way, Hebo is called Mots these days so I've heard. X-Citing used to make some. More recently the Future trial Racing Team made Montesa Team clothing: http://www.futuretrial.com/en/prodotti/abbigliamento-e-attrezzatura/ Banyeres from spain has got some Montesa gear but a lot is out of stock: http://www.jbanyeres.com/en/11-equipamiento
  17. Trial in Belgium seems to be on the up. The national federation has just added (for the second time) an extra contest to the calender... Nice http://www.fmb-bmb.be/nl/content/trial-memorial-diego-bosis
  18. Maybe these pictures shed some light on your question: http://trial-classic-bultaco.fr/ShercoByBultaco.htm
  19. Not only is your drum to slippery, your pants and boots don't match either
