me too, galfers every time

if it is producing a spark that suggest to me that the stator is working as when they go they totally fail, but if there's a weak spark that suggest that the coil isn't doing its job of increasing the voltage, so try another coil on first

lampkins say they will replace it under warranty. have to send my old one back to get my
-
might give lampkins a ring tommorow, its really got me narked, cos i done everything to stop this from happening
-
Will try that tomorrow
thanks
p.s
i took the stator plate off and it doesn`t look too bad, no rust pretty dry.
gonna put a multimeter on it tommorrow and see if theres any power, also when i try and kick it up if the light switch is on the light brightens, wonder if i could switch the wires around if two of the stator plates are for the lights/horn etc and two are for the spark plug.

Hi,
I have an 06 beta 250, it will be 1 year old this month.
went out riding on saturday ran fine for an hour an a half, stopped for a drink, when i went to start it again it started then died, all my mates took the p***, saying oh stator gone, stators gone.
could not get the bugger to go again, changed the plug, checked the fuel, checked to see if there was a spark and there wasn't, so i took out my coil and tried it on my mates 07 it worked ok, then i took my console(cdi?) out, that worked ok on his. unpluged my kill button still no joy.
only thing left is the stator(i think) which has really peed me off, i take the plastic cover off after every ride start the bike, leave it to run for 5 mins and don't put the cover back on till the next time i ride.
i thought they had sorted the stator problems out.
any advise appreciated
Thanks

shell V-power, with Motul 800 at 70:1, runs sweet as a dream.

there is actually 4 of them
trials bike
trials bike pro
trials construction yard
and by far the hardest
trials mountain heights
i've completed the first three loads of times without any points,
the forth one is done by time, got some good times but it's hard.
would attached some pics of my best scores but there''s no "attach file" available (ANDY?)

Bet the wife's gonna be well p****d off when she realises you've ruined her best pink handbag.
-
i hope not otherwise dabill is in trouble, seen as though the pics were taken at addingham(i think).

try these hk1520 2rs
you`ll find that the bearing-seal arrangement from new has a pissy little seal on each side of the bearing.
the bearings above have the seals incorperated into them and end up the same width (20mm)
think they're about
-
Remove the oil level plug circled in the pic lay the bike on its side and fill it thro' there or
remove the four screws on the polished clutch cover and pour directly into there.
I feel so dumb too, dont think your on about a gasgas tx250 are you.
-
try searching the previous bikes you've had on the Galfer website.
Click Catalogue then motos
I think 1054gg is the grade of pad
-
ye they were easy to fit, supplied with self adesive stickers, but i used cable ties for the forks and swing arm.
so i can take them off easyily when i need to.
the normal part of the exhauhst gaurd is from trick bits, i didn`t put the other part of it on yet.
the lad who i bought the bike off always goes over the top with protecters and that carbonium everywhere, so the rest of the exhaust was already covered.
