Ok. I can change gear with one foot on the peg. Guess I will have to get used to it.

    Gear Lever

Hi peeps, Got my sherco 290 2001 model yesterday, I'm used to road bikes and crossers but I find the gear lever is too far from my toes, roughly an inch. Can shorter ones be purchased? Ive only ridden the bike around the street with trainers so I know boots will be slightly longer but I still would rather the lever be closer. Anyone else the same? Or is it meant to be a fair distance away ? Thanks in advance
  4. Hello people, I have just bought a super clean 2001 sherco 290, to start getting into trials. Had a 4.5 hour trip to get the bike and then another 4.5 hour trip home for the trailer wheel bearing to collapse 10 miles from home. gutted. I got it sorted in the end. I live in cornelly, south wales, cf33, and am racking my brains of where to legally to take the bike for free or a small fee to practice. I used to do novice trails on my push bike when I was a lot younger, but now I'm 29 and a few stone heavier, so god know how I will take to it. we all have to start somewhere right! Anyway, my name is shayne and hello, I may bump into some of you soon.
