if the caliper wont go back on with the new pads in, then you have not fully retracted the piston.
if the piston wont budge, like you claim, then you have a seized caliper.

jim snells video is a good starting point for learnig the technique to starting your gasgas.
it helped me when i was starting mine all wrong, now my right leg is like a starter motor.
