Hi, I am starting to gather parts for my TR34 rebuild and wondered if you could post a picture of your back brake assembly as I need some inspiration and wish to find out which parts I am missing etc. Your project looks very nice so far. Cheers Tony

Hi, I'm rebuilding a mates bike that been apart for several months. I'm struggling to remember where each part of the loom bolts/attaches to the frame? In particular I am not 100% sure where the CDI and other parts are mounted? Does anybody have any pics? Or perhaps a few hints to get be going again lol. Cheers Tony

Sorry I have not been on here for a while. Thank you for all the advice. I'm thinking a zerof may be an option but I will need to investigate clearances etc. Guest, please can you provide any more info about your new piston? Cost? supplier/engineer? Also, where is a zero 260 piston available? Cheers Tony

Hi, I'm struggling to locate a new 260cc piston. JLI do not stock them any more but I wondered if a Beta Zero 260cc piston would fit? However I'm not sure if a water cooled piston can be used in an air cooled engine?

Hi, does anyone know where I can get a Montesa Honda 349 workshop manual, 1982 or similar year? I've looked on this forum & google but can't find anything? A simple owners manual would be a good start but I have an engine rebuild to do so a workshop manual would be very useful. Cheers Tony

Sorry, new phone with predictive text. Post title = scorpa sy250 water pump impeller removal
-
Trying to remove the water pump impeller in order to remove the RHS engine case to inspect the clutch. Does the impeller pull off with the Case? I do not want to simply pull the impellor out if it's fixed behind the case etc and potentially break something . I can only assume that the impeller & shaft assemble can be pulled out with some pliers or the impeller is attached to the shafts with a LH thread? Either way do I pull the impellor off with the Case or am I missing something? The impeller appears to be the only thing holding case on now that I have removed the bolts, kick-start & water pump case. Cheers Tony

Hi, I purchased a Montesa 349 in December which is my first twin shock/classic bike after riding modern Trials for 20 years. The bike is on a Q plate (UK) but States it's a 1982 model on the log book but I thought I'd pick some of your brains regarding a few queries. 1. Looking through this forum I'm pretty sure it's a 349 mk4 as it has a grey frame & red tank with the small rubber seat. The tag on the head stock states Montesa Honda 349. So am I correct? Or do you guys need more info? 2. I purchased a new front sprocket guard from InMotion Trials but it appears my bike is missing some fixings. The guard appears to be a push fit, where my bike is missing two of the three lugs that I believe it's meant to interface with. Could any of you post a pic of the area I'm interested in as I'm thinking of making up something in the workshop. A few ideas for inspiration. Anyway thanks for your time reading this & I've ridden the bike a few times now. It runs lovely and I think a previous owner has spent a lot of time restoring it as it runs well and looks very good for a 33 year old bike. Cheers Tony

I have lost my CD manual & doing my fork seals. The links on the beta website to the factory manuals are for the standard model. I assume this means that the fork oil height for the standard & Factory 250 Evo's are the same? I cant imagine the forks on each model differing significantly? Any ideas? Tony
