Had to do it some time , but some of it was little out my comfort zone . Still though ,let myself go .
What i really enjoyed was going on the flat sand near the pond and doing big slides at near full throttle in third , in massive circles , what a laugh err sorry quite therapeutic .
That sand got in everywhere . The chain was full of it . Funny enough ,it's had a polishing effect on it .
Great can't wait for the next trial .

Well , been threatening myself with going up a class from beginner to novice .
Did it today at Frodsham trials clubs Mouldsworth Sand quarry trial .
Coops and i toddled off and started off at our appropriate section markers .
When we worked out what was what , off i went . 2s and 3s on round one and
a heap of fives in round two .
The horticulture came in on round four . Cleaned section five on lap three .
So went a bit ball,s out up the sandy climb which had a sheet of rock thrown in for a bit of fun , oh yes the tree . Hit it , dragged a long large limb down , tried in vain to clear the leafy bits from my vision, then it grabbed me and tossed me side ways down a small rock face . It's amazing how you can get a footrest pattern on your upper leg even the imprint of the brace bit and serrated edge .
Tree still had me in it's grip , got rescued by the observer .
" Take it that's a five then"? Fraid so pal
Welcome to novice level !

Yes rabie i understand about SSSI , what i'm trying to explain is that government bodies keep slowly eroding free movement of individuals .
You've got law lords making rules to hide behind to suite there own needs .
Bet you if that land had mineral wealth under it SSSI wouldn't matter two hoots , it may take time to overturn it but it would happen .
You have a good point about being caught out by the law though .

Race , don't make me laugh . No start flag , no finish flag , no fastest lap , and in some cases no organisation .
So what we calling it ? This is one of them " vertically challenged " job's ain't it .
Tell you what , lets call it a Moto trials event !
Just an idea .
Dam , that's what it used to be called .
-
Some shade's , proper cool !
-
Well done my friend . There's always a way to a willing mind .
-
Tell you what's a weighty beast ,my mate's new Victory 1600 . Kind of makes me laugh the weight business , not digging at any one with that comment . The Mont has to be one of the best trials bikes out there . Second to non quality and reliability , think it's a case of getting to know how to operate and set it up correctly to get the best from it . Remember thoroughbreds are the hardest to master , but when you do they're unforgettable .

Shercoben , if you didn't have bad luck you wouldn't have any . What happened about the rattle you had ?
Just a money saver suggestion here for you . Priced up a genuine gasgas little end bearing . £16 + vat .
price for a Koyo (good Japanese quality one )from simply bearings £7.75 inc vat and postage . Rebuilt all my road racing Yamahas with them . Suppose what i'm saying is , download the parts catalogue strip motor , find out bearing dimentions via catalogue price them up , but use quality , not Chinese cheapo's , you could save £ 40 overall at a guess . Deffenatly don't ride it .

Hello johnnyboxer. On the insurance thing , it's better than nothing i agree , but by the time they've finished with you ( the insurer ),you've been robbed again !
As David Marr a solicitor from Wigan once told me ," they've got pots of gold and they don't want you to have any of it back "
Sums up Pirate images and not far wrong in my eye's .
Keep them off display i totally agree with .
Best form of security , don't advertise the fact you have something .

Back to the golf subject . My wife used to work at royal Lytham golf club a few years ago . She had an altercation with a German pollititon . She caught him behind the bar stealing spirits and he told her " Gur Ficken " (dont know the spelling) but basically fook off . She got her gaffer out of his bed ( Residential club) he had a chat with them and nothing was done except they warned her to be more careful who she was accusing of what .
Speaks volumes to me that .
Magistrates , former pop stars and all the social elite booze it up after a round then drive home at tea time . Never ever has one of them been pulled and the funny thing is ,there are top cop's there as well . Must add there were some real gents there as well .
There seem's to be something afoot , maybe not,but some strange thing's seem to be going on of late or has not living in the uk for all my life made me see thing's different .Seems to be like a big butty , Upper crust crapping on us from the top and all the dros p****** on us from the bottom .Were the filling that gives sustenance to them all . I don't live in the past and haven't forgot my youth .Please any comments.
Oh yes does any one remember Fanny hill ? Have you been there ?
I pulled out of Daisy hill years ago !

Finally found some one to overhaul my back shock and re-spoke my front wheel . Learned how to re finish panels with the heat gun .
-
Hahaha , call a surgeon my sides are splitting .That picture was taken in Vlissingan in the Netherlands . Loads of drug's and cop's on the take . 52% tax ouch !
-
hello mokwepa , before you decide to do that read all the pages concerning the use of ATF and the clutch mod on Beta started by Dan Williams . Personally i'd get 5w 40 semi synthetic before hydraulic oil in your bike . Have a good read through then chose for your self .
Good luck .

No john B , Bolton Lancashire , and before any wise cracks come in yes i've had Whippets , Ferrets , and Lurchers but never a cloth cap .
-
Dragin jeans as well ,made from Kevlar with inserts . With a choice of style ,but you wouldn't wear them down at the pub !
-
Rode a trial and doing another on Wednesday night .
-
Wow great response from you two guys .
I was raised in the countryside of England and i am very in touch with nature . My aunt was a country lass through and through and taught me how to fend for myself and family living from whats at hand .
We lived in green belt land in a little place called Daisy Hill , one road ,one shop , one horse .
The very people that are now saying that's SSSI sold that land and allowed a massive housing estate to be built there. That's despite it being green belt land .
I too can appreciate the environment and consider things before i act much like you said 0007 .
But ole baldilocks has hit the nail on the head .
Were to interested in squabbling over the scraps when there's a real meal to be had !
I'm so glad to know you feel the same as this constant discrimination would carry no weight elsewhere ,but as we are a fringe element ,we get a fook off tablet forced down our neck by the paper shufflers .
ted .

Here they come with another excuse .
It looks like nothing from the onset until you sit back and think .
Just done a trial in the south lake district . On speaking to the club secretary he told me they have just lost part of their land under the ruse of SSSI ( site of special scientific interest ) , land that has had cow sheet spread over it by the same farmer for 40years . Think the clubs been on there since 1927 under one name or another and walkers have been going there for donkeys years , you get the picture don't you .
The rocks are seen throughout this area and look like they've been shoved up from the seabed.Quite spectacular really.
The weather has had it's effect over centuries doing what it does naturally , and then suddenly up pops English nature and says "you can't touch them anymore "
That's another bit of our (and others ) interest being made smaller and smaller .
Wonder how long it will be before we have to pay a tax to save the environment we ride on ?
You see whats going on don't you i hope ?
These people just appear from the corridors of politics and cast their web of lie's over us .Constantly eroding our choice
and forcing ideals on us .
Carbon foot print my hairy bum cheeks , they've set more H bombs off since 1945 to destroy anything and then have the ball's to blame people like you and me for damaging the ozone layer and invent a tax for it .
Great trial and here's just a couple of pics .

The annoying thing's about having a bike nicked when the cops get involved is that the cop's do less than an estate agent to help.
The other thing's are that it could well be some one who know's you through someone else , you can find your bike and thief and the cop's still do jack **** , but most annoying is that if some one complains about noise as a result of you riding some place, the cop's can take your bike . WTF !
-
Cleaned and prepped for the next trial after the trials school last week end .
Priced up the spares for the winter rebuild .
-
Just to add a rider to you all . On a second attempt to nick my mates CBR RR by the same thieve's whom the cop's caught the first time and let them off , he caught them red handed and gave them a good leathering .
He got 9 month for grievous bodily harm ( his first offence ) lost his job ,and so on .
If you catch them in the act do 'em good style and don't admit to a thing as that's where he went wrong .
Just remember , usually these people have nothing to lose , you have .
