  1. You'd be surprised how many manage to miss the last section on a hill! What's your excuse for this year anyway Boo?
  2. Yup - missing a single section is 50. Missing more than two sections or missing an entire hill means you're out. That means that if a hill is made up of two sections and you miss it, you're out - the fact that it's not more than two sections is irrelevant - that's quite often a gray area...
  3. Physco - I despair! Licenses, team entries...how many times have you ridden this trial?!!!! Team entries can be made on the day - there will be a table as you go in ,on the left of the registration tables as you look at them, which will have spare signing on forms (for all the numpties that don't bother taking theirs with them!) and blank team entry forms - we even take pens along for you! You can also submit a team earlier than that if you want - the team awards that can be won this year will be listed at the end of the supplementary regulations. These regs should be available for download in early February, at which point I'll open the team entries on the SSDT website too. When you enter your team doesn't matter - as long as it's entered before 7.30am on Monday morning, you're sorted.
  4. ACU riders just need their ACU registration card. SACU riders need their SACU license, and all other riders need their international license, whether annual or one-event.
  5. Definitely both entered on Betas - I treble-checked the form at the time...
  6. Dinner done - that's me off to upload them now. Should be there in the next fifteen / twenty minutes.
  7. As soon as I've had my dinner. Should be on the SSDT website by about 8pm tonight..
  8. You'll be lucky to get one this late - I booked a few weeks ago and really struggled to get a room anywhere! Finally got one of the last rooms available in the seventh hotel I phoned...
  9. Where's all the replies from north of the border? Shame on you - at least give your opinion! You're not normally this reserved.... It's probably safer for all concerned if I don't ride, but I'll be more then willing to help out - that goes for Cam too.
  10. You can get in touch with CJB Photographic using the contact details on their website CJB Photographic and order directly from them. Enjoy!
  11. I think you're just too shy to tell us you'd like our company for the day again.....any chance of hitching a lift?
  12. I feel obliged to point out that I'd have been running off to an entirely different <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> from 'Andrew'!!!
  13. Is all this enthusiasm anything to do with your starring role in our promotional CD?!
  14. Colin Barrie and Stuart Martin rode both events too - and finished both. Daft lads.
  15. At the moment the legislation doesn't apply to Scotland, so we haven't had any problems so far, but the minute it's brought in we're going to be in the same pickle as you guys are in at the moment.
  16. Check the SSDT site - the reason was published days ago. It's in the forums under the 'As It Happens' topic for Friday.

Bigfoot boiled his bike big-style on the moor crossing between Loch Shiel and Annatt (Ishy reckons it was trying to keep up with Kinell's souped-up Beta that did it!). He was debating going out again today on a no-award ride but as he was still in the bar at 1am this morning and it's bucketing rain here in the Fort, I reckon he's probably still tucked up in his bed!
  18. We're going to be bringing bits and pieces to you as they happen throughout the week on a new forum on the SSDT site - it's a bit easier and more interactive than posting constant news bulletins. Click on the link to the SSDT forums on this website to jump over and keep up to date with the 'As It Happens' forum.
  19. The whole of Fort William is having a ball taking the proverbial out of poor Jeff....I wouldn't be surprised if more updates appear on the site as the pee-taking progresses throughout the week.... The SSDT Assistant C of C's are known not only for their thorough skills out on the hill and in the hotel bar - they're a dab hand at the practical jokes too, so keep an eye out!
  20. Don't be showing them that! We're trying to find another rider, not scare off the ones we've already got!
  21. We've got one place up for grabs in this year's SSDT - we've gone through the usual process of phoning people on the reserve listing at random, but that's only serving to upset everyone that can't make it. So, if you've entered, didn't get an entry but can still make it up for the trial, drop an email to ssdtoffice@ssdt.org. First come, first served!
