I think it's more to do with the fact that they're not web-enabled rather than them hiding the route from you!
I doubt you'll find the route on-line, but I might be able to get hold of copies. If I can, I'll find a way of getting them to you, and if I can't, last I heard it was the same as last year.
-
I have no idea what the route is, but I think the Pipeline rumour has come from the fact that the bridge used to access it was down. To the best of my knowledge it's going to be back up for the trial though, so shouldn't be a problem!
Like I say, I haven't seen the routes myself, so that's just a guess.....

Yup - SACU riders need an SACU license, ACU riders need their ACU registration card and international riders need their international license.
-
For those of you that jump straight to the Forums, that's the riding numbers up on the SSDT site now....
-
Right you lot, that's your letters posted now.
The latest entry list (including numbers) has been sent on to Hud, who maintains the SSDT site, and as soon as they've been put online, news bulletins will be posted to the SSDT site (and to TC).
You'll notice there's still a couple of blank spaces on the list - these were allocated to two riders who confirmed tonight that they're not going to make it, so these places will be reallocated tomorrow night. However, I thought you'd probably prefer to see the list now rather than wait another 24 hours until that's sorted out!
Have fun....I'm off to hide under my desk until the shouting stops!
-
Whiling the hours away waiting for 1800 bits of paper to print off!!
-
It'll all kick off tomorrow - the basic numbers have been allocated, but there's quite a few places to be reallocated already. I'm going in to the bank tomorrow to get a final list of payments received from riders outwith the UK and once we know who has paid and who hasn't, any unpaid entries will be reallocated to riders on the reserve listing.
Once we've got a final entry list the letters and information packs will be drawn up and posted out to you - a rider list will also be posted to the SSDT website. All things being equal you should have your letters by the end of the week, but I'm run off my feet at work at the moment, so it's a bit dependent on when I get home in the evenings. I'll put a note on here and on the SSDT site when the letters go out anyway so that you know the score.

Vicx - I'd give the beggar a slap for that one....
-
Gave us a good giggle, that one did!
-
Answers in order :
(1) 270 - unless you're excluding the lasses
(2) No
I understand thanks are due for your compliments last weekend....
-
A simple explanation....but it's far more fun watching everyone guess, so I'll leave you to it for the time being.
-
All 430 letters were posted off together, so everyone bar those outwith Europe should definitely have their letters by now - if you don't, drop an email to ssdtoffice@ssdt.org and we'll let you know whether or not your entry was successful by email.
-
Not really worthy of a news bulletin, so update is going on here instead!
The ballot has been done, letters printed, envelopes stamped and all are now safely in the hands of the Post Office. I believe there's a mail collection tomorrow, so UK letters should be with you on Tuesday, European letters on Wednesday and all others should arrive whenever the world postal service sees fit to deliver them!
The entry list will be posted to the website (www.ssdt.org) by the weekend - possibly earlier.
-
Looks like too many of us trying to access the same part of the site have crashed the server.
-
Bottom of the screen, in the middle, the two words slightly to the left...
-
Now, now boys! If you click on 'Skip Movie' the site loads in seconds. I'm on Scottish wind-up/dial-up and if it works for me, it works for anyone!
If that still doesn't work, send an email to ssdtoffice@ssdt.org and we'll get the webmaster to see what he can do.

-
That's you barred on two counts then.
-
Don't know about the rest of them, but Cam, Mrs Kinell and myself are already scouring Sheffield for nearby karaoke pubs.
-
For those of you that don't bother reading the front page, the entry forms are now available for download from www.ssdt.org.
-
I believe I'm meant to be 'in the know', but I haven't heard a peep yet! Will let you know when I hear anything though.
-
There's a new backflip video on trialsection.com at the mo (in their video links...)
trialsection.com
You need to click on the word Backflip under the picture rather than on the picture itself though - otherwise it throws up an error.
-
By morning, do you mean the wee small hours or just the early hours?
If it's the wee small hours, I don't suppose you heard enough to find out who put Wee Sis to bed, did you? If it's the early hours, apologies for the language...
-
It's called sunstroke.
Congrats to Stu, Ron and everyone else involved in setting up a grand weekend. You guys are lucky to live in such a fantastic part of the world - you never know, we may even consider you honorary Scots from now on.
-
Vinnie... I'm disappointed in you! I presume that means that Stuhrc will be too shy to arrive on his own then?
Letting the Irish side down there, are you not? The pair of you should be ashamed of yourselves.
