This is what I used, same part as Leonelli uses.

My 2011 used to leak when transporting but only emptied the float bowl (keihin carb). It could be dirt in the pump holding the valves open. I rebuilt my pump just after getting mine for piece of mind, There's not alot to them. I always run 2 filters either side of the pump also.
The dellorto doesnt have a overflow if I recall so it could be leaking a bit to the cylinder.
The triggers in the stator are 2 small surface mount hall sensors, they are about 1x2mm. You have to dig the silicone away on the plastic mount to get to them.
You have to be good with a really small soldering iron as it's micro surgery!.
There's the readings on splatshops site for checking them but it's a bit hit and miss with a multimeter.
9 times out of 10 it's the triggers that go on them, I have 2 spare ones as I had to spend minimum £10 for the order so brought 2 spares and some other stuff to make it up.
1st sign of problems is the occasional backfire when starting.
I will dig them out and get the part numbers posted from them.

S3 have been supplying the standard pistons and cylinders in them for a few years now, I think the black skirt ones with the coating came out in around 09/10.
On an 2014 bike the only choice is S3 as the piston and barrel are made by them, S3 also do the ported barrel too as an aftermarket replacement.
It depends on what is causing your noise, You will need to strip down and check, It could be just a noisy small end bearing, If its a noisy piston you will need a piston kit and have the cylinder checked too for wear.
You must really ride that bike hard if it's worn that quickly.

The sections shouldn't be very tight this weekend as the easy route on these trials is set out to cater for pre 65 machines and it's being run under the non stop rules. You should be fine as you have ridden enduro for years.
There's normally just 3 routes at the Southampton and district events, An easy route, A route for everyone else and an expert route.
I've been asked to go and help on the Saturday to mark the expert route.
These events are always fun and interesting, If you don't get on with the sections you can spend the rest of the day practicing around the rest of the venue so you will still get a good day out on the bike's.
Let's hope the weather will be in our favor.
-
I'm sure they know where they went wrong and will take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again. Their bikes are the best sellers so the future is looking bright, Happy days, Good on them.
-
They last for 4 days also.
Day 1, wear right way round.
Day 2, wear backwards,
Day 3 , Turn inside out,
Day4, See day 2.

Sheeps back legs don't fit down the front of ya trials boots either!!!!
-
The Gaerne boots you can get replacement soles for.
Trials boots are not like motocross boots or enduro boots, In trials we don't clobber stumps at 40mph and ride round corners with our foot stuck out!
Talking about wellies.....................
-
He didn't want to risk dabbing as he was not miles ahead like he normally is so was under pressure to go clean. He just made the wrong decision.
It's a good confidence boost for Raga and more importantly it gave Gas Gas something to cheer them up a bit.
-
I think your right there dadof2, I didn't see too many discounted last season, I think they made less bikes or sold more.
But the last 3 years before there has been loads of discounted pro's on sale for a long time.
It seems strange they only made the racing models this year.
-
Down the road from Jotagas then.
-
The world riders like to stay dry these days, The Japanese round can see bad weather.
Check out this vid of the 88 world round at Butser limeworks, Although they were allowed to stop they didn't have much choice as the brakes wouldn't stop them down those hills.
Awesome venue, we have had some trials there recently, Marking out is fun as you can not even climb the hills to put the flags in!!!
It's a good example of how better the bikes are now and how trials has evolved as the clubman experts and better Intermediate riders can ride what the world champs did back then.

The fuel tap did not get added till 2012/13, Sounds like the floats need sorting in the carb. A fuel tap will not stop it flooding as fuel should not flow past the pump unless it's running, If it's leaking from the carb it's only whats in the float bowl.
the 2011 had ignition problems that made them a pain to start and they used to back fire here and there, The triggers in the stator used to go bad, If your good with a soldering iron its a £2 fix or £80 if you send it off.
Sort the floats and check the float needle is shutting off, Stick a new plug in and gap it to 0.6mm. Then see how it is.
-
Could be a few things.
Faulty radiator cap
Overheating caused by bad fan or electrics, Cylinder head O rings, Waterpump seal gone (has the gearbox oil turned white).
Check it has got water, then check if fan cuts in and out then go from there.
-
I love the bikes of that era, But this video is painful, They don't need to stop and balance for so long all the way through the section, I see now why time limits for sections were later introduced. It was probably to stop the observer falling asleep.
I'm not a fan of non stop trials, but it is easier to watch.
That Aprillia was the best bike of that year, I had lots of fun on one of them.
-
3:35 & 6:05, The backward endo takes more control than most other top riders have.
-
It's nicer to stand in a van in the rain to get changed than on the back of a pick-up!
-
Forgetting the thing all 4 stroke owners wear........A film of oil under the fingernails...
-
A pack of 500cc mosquito's, Flat open, at a million rpm, down the straight at Silverstone.
-
Day/Night Is that the light switch!!!!, Don't worry I know you mean Sun/Rain.
-
Forget cars, Ossa's work....LOL.....
-
Just switch back and forth as you wish on the move. You can test the switch with a multimeter, Its just an off/on switch (open or close).
It doesn't do alot that you will instantly notice a difference.
Do a search for map or mapping switch and you will find more info.
-
Take a set of allen keys, a 10mm spanner and a socket set. Oh and a big hammer LOL.
It wont leak water out of the overflow, that only opens under high pressure.
The fuel tank should have a 1 way valve to stop fuel coming out.
If you have to lean it, it still wont leak oil but take an old towel to put under it just in case someone has overfilled it.
Give it a good check over, especialy the colour of the gear oil and the rear linkage, If it is a bit rough then walk away.
07 to 011 bikes are in the harder to shift bracket as the cheapies and the mint nearly new are the quick sellers, The middle of the range market is a funny one so don't worry, either knock them down loads or find another, there's plenty about.
-
In the U.K it comes under the sale of goods act, It must be fit for purpose (riding a trial) and reasonable quality.
-
Watched the X trial tonight, They admitted the Vertigo ran out of fuel at the last round as someone forgot to put the fuel in, then it later broke a bolt.
I hate to say it but I think Vertigo need a see through fuel tank!!
