  1. Anyone know where y&g club are holding the mackenzie trial have they sorted addingham moorside out for there own club trials! or will it be held at another venue! there is a link on the bradford dmc website for regs that takes you nowhere? And yes im one of them that is still pi..sed off that addingham moorside is shut for practice & where still being told f..c all!
  2. Flywheel weight should bolt straight on as 270 & 250 have the same ignition system! Dont forget to lock tight bolts as they can come loose! as i found out when it chewed a hole in cover and rattled it nuts off!
  3. Run it in using more oil at a mix of 100/1 and take it steady not screwing it for 5 tanks full! I was told this by john lampkin when i got my new bike

What has happened to the petition as i cant see it any more on homepage & anyone know whats happening with the venue & are yeadon guiseley actually doing owt to get it reopened for practice! or are they just bothered about there club trials held at the moor and not bothered about people who pay there membership to them who cant practice there!
  7. Seen a guy where i used to practice at addingham moorside get 3 bikes in the back of a connect! his was the high roof version though!

    Carb Probs

    YEP this sounds like typical mikuni carb problems drilling mods sorts this straight away then try float bowl cap then you will want to change jets we have all been there with this problematic mikuni carb!
  11. Did you keep a eye on the spark plug as the new reeds could be making it run 2 rich!
  12. Hi there remove carb and clean out make sure jets are clear! i once had the same problem on my mates tzr road bike!
  13. Im seem to be running out of places to practice as i live in silsden & addingham moorside & rough holden are closed was wondering where everyone else is practicing who used these 2 for practice!
  14. My boyesen reeds are in and what a diference seems to rev so much better and cleaner! And thats only riding up and down road? I also thought about removing flywheel weight but i bottled it.I must be getting soft in my old age!
  15. My boyesen reeds turned up today and i wondered how many of you have had to move your needle jet at the moment im running float bowl extension carb drilling mods ngk iradium plug 145 main jet 27.5 pilot jet jitsie air filter boyessens ready to be fit!

  18. First addingham moorside was closed now rough holden looks like it will be closed under the 14 day rule ! I was turned away by farmer who said he was trying to get planning permmision for use of his land As a result i have nowhere to practice now! what is happening to our sport!

AS i live in silsden and have all my life and used the nab for a lot of years this as gutted me! tonight i had a trip up and gates are locked and the letter the farmer as recieved is fixed to gate saying that the landowner must lock gates up under the 1990 town and cities planning act and any further use will lead to a magistrates court apperance for farmer!

    Top End O Rings

    Try coating oring grooves in grease then stick orings in and coat them again with grease! This as allways worked for me the orings allways seem 2 big found this out after building alot of car & motorbike engines!
  25. Just heard off my brother that lampkins now do a preformed silencer packing for rev3 so this saves a lot of hassle! just stick new packing in silencer in one lump job done!
