Right im not having this i have set up my own petition that i will hand personly to silsden council. So please sign it and lets stick up for our sport!petition
I carnt belive this has happened im a silsden resident and heard nothing.I have not practised up there for over a fortnight and have been using there for years. Just goes to show how local councils keep residents informed of local issues!
Go for it hamster they are a piece of p--s compared to car engines you will after remove clutch basket and crank weight and split it in half! I have done a few beta engines and plenty of other 2 stroke engines if you get stuck gives us a shout im in your area of the woods!
I will give it a go ive nowt to loose worst bit about it my mates 06 sherco fires up first time and our lads 05 rev3 and im kicking mine over for 10 mins!
Well thought i had bad cold starting sorted till this afternoon when i got to adingham moorside or the nab if you want to call it that! its still not liking it from cold but once it was warm it ran the best it as ever.Bike felt really lively and revs cleanly but getting sick off having to kick it over when cold for 5 mins?
I think they wang the carbs straight on from mikuni and dont bother checking them. I found a piece of aluminuim under my choke plunger making it a t.wt to start. im thinking of getting a delloroto carb for mine! there on special offer at the moment on there uk website
Got fork stickers from steve saunders think they were only about 8 quid. I want some swinging arms repsol ones now as i have worn one of the beta ones off! Just a shame you have to buy a full set off him but he is looking into doing them seperatly
Tryed starting it today again and it was not having it.Removed spark plug and it was pi..ed wet through cleaned plug which was new a fortnight ago and shoved it back in and tryed again.Still no joy so i removed carb and stripped it totaly down. When i removed choke plunger i found a small amount of aluminuim blocking hole in bottomn of choke housing.Cleaned all carb jets reset float height and put carb back on and it fired up first time. Just goes to show how these mikuni carbs are thrown together for beta! I also fit my fork protectors and repsol fork stickers which finish it off nicely
My 06 rev3 is a complete b--tard to start when cold takes about 20 kicks then
it fires up likes it flooded I HAVE ALSO DONE CARB DRILLING MODS and keep trying spark plugs and i run at a mix of 70.1 any one else havin same bother!
HI im new to this forum and i have just bought a montesa 200 cota dirt cheap and was wondering how availble parts are for them and where i could get a manaul or download
I have gone through 3 of these mudflaps now on my 06 rev3. I have adjusted chain correctly and i have adjusted rear spring and shocker and still it wears through.IM not the smallest of riders but cant figure out why it keeps wearing through!
As any one had problems with rear shocker flap i have only rode my new bike for 8 hours and gone through a standard flap and a heavy duty one. Seems like rear wheel is catching it i have adjusted rear spring and damper settings as i am not on the slim side! Also chain is adjusted corectly
