Hi and welcome to the world of Trials
Sounds like you have already made your choice in your mind. The GasGas is a good choice. Buy -Ride- and enjoy,

Take out the seal and turn it around so the sharp edge face is out.. i use only seal rubber lube and use only a small amount,
I have a brake fluid tester. i cheek my fluid every 6mths and it turns the light red when there is moisture in the master cylinder. this also makes the pistons stick.

Hi
Can you have it repaired or is it completely buggered? I had my one repaired; rear tyre wore out the inside, had a mate who makes carbon fibre rowing race boats he put on new carbon around where it was worn, looks like new but way stronger as well, did not cost much also.
Can you put a photo of the exhaust up.

2015 has finally arrived. Wishing everyone a happy new year! Hope you've all made your new year resolutions.
Envious of those who will be going to Sheffield Indoor XTrials... last went in 2001 and loved it! Will have to wait for Trials Central to give me updates on it. Wishing all the best to all the young up and coming riders competing for their first time.

Go and see a car windscreen place and get some black windscreen sealant, put it around the spoke nipples. Make sure you wear disposable gloves as this stuff is really hard to get off. Let it dry and then fit your rim tape.
hope this helps.
cheers

Hi Guys
Talked to our Michelin tyre Guru this is the way to go, clean in side of rim with a soft copper wire brush leave tyre in sun. For those of you that don't get any sun move or take the tyre on holiday with you ,In the UK try Halfords ,its car windscreen wash and it has a small amount of drying alcohol in it Fit tyre to the rim ,spray all over, have tyre valve out, pump up fast ,tyre will pop on don't go over 30 psi as this stretches the cords in the tyre. This stops tyre slipping off when in water or hitting big rocks . This has worked for me over many years ,don't use water with the windscreen wash.

Merry Christmas to all
Some of you are having snow , we think that is nice (but cold), but way down under here in NZ it will be a hot day, also nice.
Santa's come and gone, no new bike" but did get some new vinyl records to enjoy.
Stay safe and enjoy your time with families

Hi
My Gara 260 did the same at about 5 years from new ,so pulled apart the crank case halves, and found small pit holes in water pump tunnel. put some very good goop that worked for 8mths then started leaking again. then got our beta importer in NZ to get new case halves put together. mint for 2 years, but same thing happened yet again. it sat in my shed for 16 years , until I saw the light and got a 09 Raga 300. now the 260 has a TLR 250 motor in it, best thing for it.
