  1. fitted a jst gguk team sticker kit to my 08 pro racing! looks mint`! shame i cant ride it tho beca
  2. if your gonna get a new rear mudguard save yourself some money and get this! i got one for my 08 because the original was £80!!! http://www.splatshop...uard-black.html then i got the gguk jst 2013 kit for my bike and tthey look trick! they used to only make them for 2011 onwards but now they do them for 2002 2010 i would really recommend there quality and easiness to put on!
  3. yes, use bar riasers and renthal 7/8 trials bars. these are slightly higher than fat bars... good luck!
  4. i was removing the electrics to remove the motor! its just annoying because people have so many issues with them! the switch is a little one about 2cm across by 3cm up.... it it is rubbery plastic...
  5. While stripping my bike down to repair the stupid gearbox I noticed there's a really small black switch with no markings connected to the big pack box thing with a black and orange wire. It's joined by those wires into the big black computer (brain part In the upper frame part) What do you think it could be?
  6. could i carry on using it and live with noise?? does anyone know how much those bearings are?
  7. What is it with gasgas! Why do they not fix there weak boxes! I was out on my 08 125 today and hopped up onto a fallen tree which was undercut by about 2 feet. So obvisioly you would hit the sump and rock of the other side. I was not hitting it hard at all and was being very carefull not to hit it harshly. In fact it barely felt it because the rear wheel had left the ground due to the technique used. So I rocked of in 1st gear and headed down hill and there is a loudish grinding noise but only in 1st gear it does not go with clutch in. But it's only when moving (anything more than standstill) I took it back and cleaned it and changed the gear oil and there was loads of metal on the plugs. more than the usual! There were bits of what looked like roller bearings there was about 4 little cylinder shape pieces of metal about 1/4 cm long.... Can anyone help me out?! Why would it suddenly break like that with a slight hit.?!! There are vids on YouTube of raga indoor dropping of things 12 foot high and landing on some upturned block 8foot below and landing on the sump guard extremely! Please help! Ben
  8. i know he needed it but he isn't gonna get anymore power by holding full throttle on for a few seconds when its already reached its climax?!!
  9. whys ross using so high revs for so long? i know its a 125 but that was quite unnecessary!
  10. that new sherco i want one! that new exhaust new head for the 125 as well dont like the graphics on the txt pro 14 and dont get why they launched a racing thats gonna be out in january bit far of LOL!
  11. just leave the page and dont scroll up and down leave it for a minute and it will come up! that sherco is fit!!!!!!! nicer than the new pro imo! such a nice exhuast on the sherco!

  13. if he wants more power let him!! he obviosly would prefer to have more power as he feels better with it. sure it wont make hime ride better but its what he wants!!
  14. it reallly has little use and not at a high level! anyone heard of other 2011 frames cracking? i have not heard of any? i wonder if gasgas uk will do ?
  15. what can i do here? its had little use by a clubman rider :/. if you look closely theres a tiny gap inbetween the paint its about 1mm at most but its still a crack!!
  16. with my 125 it went all flat and gutless. so we put in a new piston and rings and it really livened it up and is a lot more pokey. i would suggest on your 300 to put a new set of rings in and/or a new piston as-well. s3 make a high high insert which a mate put in his 125 and that gave him alot more grunt and it pulled really well. where abouts do you want the power? if you want more bottom end snap i would take the keihnin of as this smoothens it out.
  17. yes your idea should work. we did the same with dads brake lever on his gasgas 2011 300. with original levers. you do need to give it a big hit though. ben

  19. ok, spoke to dealer today and they said they will have a look for us. but he said he wouldn't be surprised if its the big end. :moon: . when they said that last time it was the kickstart gears. they didnt even take the barrel of to see if there is any play. they just listend to it... i will take it to them and get them to prove its the big end! if not then they will sort it!!!
  20. thanks ted will do exactly that. i knackered the kickstart gears a few months back and sent it to them to sort it out. they said it was the big end! so we took it back and did it our selves with new gears. so starting to think if they are really "proffesionals"
  21. i know there is usually abit of mechanical noise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfz9gzll-BM in the video you can slightly hear it but it gets louder when the bikes hotter. the noise varies. sometimes its quieter then others. i guess if its still runs fine then there is nothing to worry about. it is slightly annoying though. if there is a way to get rid of it except from putting a new piston in it would be nice. you barely hear it in the video which is annoying:(
  22. Hi tedd. Thanks for the reply! The piston kit was professionally fitted by freestyle bikes of wadhurst. This included all bearings/gaskets/clips. It was a full top end rebuild. I am going to try and take a video of it now so you can hear it. It should be up on here this evening. Thanks, Ben
  23. hi i have an 08 125 racing thats had a new piston about 20hours. the bike has plenty of power now and has enough compression. but there is a small rattle when reved on the run down. it is not the clutch rattle. it is quite annoying... if i take it round the field under load it seems to get a little quieter but then it comes back. is there any way to change this or will it go?
