  1. wait a month or two then get the raga factory model. the reason i say this is because the new models have come with a dodgy batch of main bearings that have failed on 5-6 bike in the uk already! a 125 will be absolutely fine! i wouldent go on a beta even if i was paid! (personal preferance) the gassers are alot nicer! put an s3 very high compresion insert in and it will ride mega! good luck!
  2. just to let anyone know - if your thinking off buying a 2013 factory rep raga DONT! they have come with a dodgy batch of main bearings! 5-6 have been recalled in the uk!
  3. yes they will fly with the right technique! my 125 is going to be up for sale if your interested? its a 2008 125 racing (first red frame) its ported and a new piston so plenty of power for you! new tyres and countless trick bit! contact me if interested.... benjaminjleach@gmail.com
  4. ATF will make dp clutch packs swell so unless you know what you've got I wouldn't bother. Use GRO it's the best you can get I promose you I cannot say enough how good it is!!!!!
  5. I'll get some more pics tomorrow:) I got them from trials enduro direct. Really good quality! Easy to fit but be patient!!!! Call gasgas uk about the sticker kit. The stickers fit from 2002 to 2010. Go to the splatshop website and search gasgas rear mudguard and scroll through untill you see a black one for 22£

  7. i highly recommend global racing oil for all trials bikes! They do two types - gear trans 10w30 and gear extreme 75w. the extreme stuff is £20 for 1l and the gear trans is £10 but i have tried both and cant see any difference! they are the official oil supplier to gasgas, ossa and oset. in our sherco which has a similar to the beta we used gear trans which eliminated all clutch drag and selected gears cleanly. i suggest you try this first as they are the best i have tried. http://www.globalracingoil.co.uk/ http://www.globalracingoil.co.uk/gear_trans
  8. petr no i have not used this bar. i use renthal fat bars. the buffalo bars are narrower than renthals fat bar. s3 also make a champion bar which is pretty much the same as a renthal fat bar. it depends wether you want it wider or narrower they are all pretty similar height wise...
  9. yeah charlie that used to happen on the pre pro gassers but the newer ones seem to be alright. but still atf is so thin! its great for clutches but not good for bearings! mic - i would still buy some GRO as this is what gasgas factory recommends and which raga uses. its what they tell the dealer to use when they assemble the bike from the box. it doesn't drag from new does it?!
  10. does the new exhuast make things different power wise?
  11. nice bikes guys! what cc is the raga ?
  12. put a 48 on the rear 10 front its how ross danby used to have it!
  13. a friend with a jotagas 300 2013 in the manual it says turning the small screw out makes it leaner and in richer?!! yet on my gasser out is richer and leaner is further in?!
  14. sand the frame rusted bits abit and then polish wish a fluffy drill bit end looks like a mirror in the end! use autosol!
  15. the bike sounds good! obviosly tuned to the max by his dad mick danby. has anyone got a contact for him?
  16. trying to get motor out and the front sump guard bolts below the exhuast are srtipped clean start bits dot work either and there new
  17. splatshop do a black universal one for £25...
  18. my friends got a scorpa and looked at the randone same engine! very similar aswell! if you remove a baffle from the exhuuast you can get more grunt and its louder
  19. the fatbar and 7/8 bars feel almost the same and the 7/8 is narrower the fatbars are stronger and generally more preferred! john shirt of gasgas uk prefers 7/8s and thats the only gasser ive seen with them on!
  20. thats normal when you kick it over. dont think theres issues with kickstart gears but maybe low compression? lineaway! someone agrees with me!
  21. so are they new or painted? does anyone know where i can get a set of marzochi forks for the pro from? (new)
  22. both our pros ( 300 and 125) have no drag! it shouldn't have lots of drag and its not normal for the clutch to do that. it was designed to disengage so you can stop! although many bikes do have drag its not supposed to be that way! dont get used to it and try a different gear oil. the best stuff you can get for a gasgas is GRO extreme gear oil 75w or GRO gear trans. we use this is and has eliminated the drag . try it its great stuff!
  23. yes, i was thinking it could be a mapping switch because its the racing model ( first red frame non tublar style) there are no other switches also. its not like my dads mapping switch though which is big and black and red this ones just a mini all black rubbery/plastic switch going straight to the control box/computer thing were all the other wires go to.....
