  1. Me and my buddy rode over 50 miles in the national forest yesterday. It was awesome! I took the hand held GPS with my custom mapping and we went over to a friends house across town thru the forest rodes and even traveled on a MX course! Here we stopped to chill. It felt like we traveled forever. So much fun!! That orange bike is my friends KTM 200. He just put a new piston in it. We each burned 2 full tanks of fuel that day
  2. Charlie, They go on the swingarm. I dunno what it does but I like how it looks Cope, I got the new airbox on. I have no idea how you got that rubber inlet hose on the carb. I tried for about an hour to get it on. I removed the carb, sprayed brake cleen and even tried to trim some of the rubber off. Still couldent get it on there. Either way, the new airbox is on and I'm happy! Now all I need is some gasoline
  3. My motorcycle ride buddy's KTM piston melted and I have been really busy out-of-town working, so I have not rode the Sherco in a loong time. I decided to try again to install the blue rubber intake hose with the new airbox but now I cannot find where I placed it!!!!! I looked everywhere in the shop, cleaned it completely, and looked inside every box. Easy come easy go I guess... CoPeMeCh!!! any more where that came from?

    Looks fuel injection
  5. Would you lookie here, it showed up lol
  6. I got some extra cash flow so I called splatshop for a new airbox and gas cap gasket. Should be arriving soon... I'll install the airbox along with the PWKcarb to airbox hose CopeMech sold me sometime last year....
  7. Cope I tried to get the airbox off so I could put the new hoes on there but got stuck at the airbox and never made it that far... I'm going to have to figure out how to fix this airbox... shouldent be too bad but I want it to be decent not jerry-rigged,.
  8. The nuts in my airbox stripped out! What now? New box?
  9. I went for a ride in the national forest today with 3 other friends. One buddy has xr250r, other has KTM200 and the other a drz400. They had never seen a trials bike before. Everyone underestimated it. I was waiting up for them all the time. Here is a picture of me on a trail with some cool hills. I had a blast! I burned 1.5 gas tanks. The Sherco is really good in the trails. My knees are sore from riding all day though... All in all the bike ran flawless and I had TOOONS of fun!
  10. Thanks to copemech a unique piece for my bike. I cant wait to get it
  11. I ground about 1/4 inch more off the end and now the cable is perfect length. The bike runs great! Idle issue fixed.
  12. Ya that was a good one you came up with
  13. My lucky day? Yes!! It's also my 30th birthday today! I got the Sherco figured out... Its hard to describe but I will do my best... If you see the picture of my swan neck the pervious owner rigged up, you will notice its actually the factory PWK carb neck with the Delorolo swan neck, cut and wedged down into the PWK neck. When I took it all apart I noticed this and separated them. The threads were still good on the Delorolo neck so I threaded it into the carb. The only problem was that the cable was too long now because the previous owner had cut it short. So I got the PWK outlet, cut it shorter and wedged it on the front of the delorolo swan neck to give it more length. Worked like a charm. The only problems now is I cannot get the bike to idle down to where I like it. I think the swan neck needs to be shortened a little bit cuz now the cable is acting like its too short. Either way the gas tank now clears and its much better. I gased it up (first time with new tank) and went for a cruise. It was fun as heck! Now i'm going to take it apart and grind a bit more off the neck to give me a bit more length on the cable. ....my gas cap also leaks... thats anooying... the rubber gasket inside is ripped... Copemech, I e-miled you a few days ago... did you ever get it?
  14. But of course you would have to cut the cracks out or at least thin them out first before we-welding
  15. Its prolly chome moly (CrMo)... My guess would be use a similar high tensle wire such as 80SB2. I suggest using A15 or A18 wire or an 80. TIG weld it.
  16. Is this the only route? Its kinda expensive!
  17. Mine is not straight up. It's got an angle to it, but it seems to need more...Something like a 90 degree facing fowards. Also... just for note the dellorto carb to airbox hose did not fit the PWK so I'm using the radiator hose still.
  18. Thanks for taking the time to show the new Sherco. They are really nice. Very happy customer from the USA
