  1. The NATC meeting is october 26-28th the schedule will be set then.. as far wtc events the schedule for this is already set .

One month is truly minimum .. as entry secretary has to get all info for the event mailed out to riders... all entry info to the scoring personel so they can have the start times ready in advance.. They also need to let the club know about how many riders as this plays a factor in how the loop will be marked( split start etc.. ) as there are certain criteria that have to be met for a NATIONAL.. Many clubs Have tried to run A National like a local and they were a disaster.. nationals have come a long way . They are much more professional than years ago and The Importers have strived and spent alot of money to make this happen along with the NATC. The Natc provides many things and people to be sure a National Event , is just that.. Unless you have ever put on a National You have no Idea the Issues , Responsibilities , amount of organization it takes.. to come off successfully, after Organizing 4 Succesful Nationals Myself, With a handful of help I will tell you it is not an easy feat. We in particular needed to know the month in advance as we had several ways to run our loop.. hope this helps you understand more. Jr
  3. Sounds like Craig Is Vyying For one of many of The NATC's VOLUNTEER JOBS.. I can say with alot of certainty that There was NO SIGNAL within one hour of the event site.. If Craig wants to Buy a satellite phone and come to all the nationals and give live updates on his own DIME the NATC would greet him with open arms.... We need more of you armchair riders out there.. Cmon boys walk a mile in someones shoes before you start bitchin'..

  9. Heath, Riders use a lower bar to get the front of the bike higher (closer to them ) for todays rear wheel riding .. You were correct in your assesment! the balance point is the critical factor and just a few mm can make quite an impact...

  11. I believe a young rider from colorado may be competing on a (125 Gas Gas) and Karl davis Jr from florida (Beta), Ronnie Commo (Beta), I'm sure Ryan Will find someone as well .. Looking for around 4-6 riders per event ..I like the fact they will be competing on equal hardware and Growing commoradery amongst themselves.. as when and if they go to Europe they Need to travel together to keep expenses under control.. The commoradery is the key and competing on equal equipment.. Forgot to mention Will Ibsen has taught ronnie a fair amount this year in the stra as well ..
  12. Mr. Hensley, You say your worried about Homer competing against the experts on a 125.. trust me it is Great for the kids to learn and perfect the techniques . As far as the 125 being competitive .. dead issue .. look at the euro boys on the green line at the World Round.. Our Number 1 expert was thouroughly spanked by them (sorry Ray).. My son competes in the Pro/Champ class in the STRA, against Bruce Leriche , Chris Florin when he shows.. Will Ibsen.. Etc On a 125... and does very well.. We rode a FTA event last weekend and Chuck.. Tested Ronnie on a few huge hits on the 125.. Ronnie smiled and told him Your turn as he flew by him !! The 125 develops a great deal of technique and confidence.. once ready when the kids move up to a 250 or 270... IMAGINE the stuff they'll be able to accomplish.. my two cents ! Ron

    Beta 4-stroke

    Chris, The new rev Is incredibly differant from yours and the 4 stroke will weigh only one pound more than the Rev 3 you had.. I know for a fact the monty weighs much more than your rev did as I just sold a mont used..and weighed it .. lets just say "not as light as advertised" Maybe I got a heavy one ..lol Hope the boy is kickin' butt out there..   14. It's funny ya know I get this question all the time "How do I make my 270 have softer power and easier to ride" My Reply .. well Beta makes a fine 250 and a awsome 200 cc machine both have LESS power than a 270..

You all make me laugh ... if you spent an hour a day practising instead of typing here .. you would learn how to hop and see that the steering angle and the THICKNESS of the clamp is where the decreased steering RADIUS comes from .. All Top, above average, just about any Riders take the screws out any way.. The beauty part of full lock turning a beta is it does actually turn .. not dip or dive or tuck.. If you get to Demo one .. as we provide demo rides for more than a parking lot test.. You will see , feel and definitely notice all the differances.. One Rider who rides a sherco " The bike stays on line in the creeks better than my bike.. It also has way more power and the power goes to the ground without just spinning.. The suspention is the smoothest I have ever ridden "" five to ten minutes after i started riding I could hop it with less energy and it was so much more stable feeling" (STRA riders)
  17. You are thinking wrong lad.... The airbox is plenty big as it is the same on a 270.... it is not an intake issue for revvving... It is the out side.. clean up your head pipe... if you,or someone you know is keen with a dremel tool you can work the exhaust port some .. any way AIR intake is not your issue..
  18. As the bike is Lighter and more powerful.. The frame is actually narrower by your calves and slightly wider where the pegs mount .. The Relationships have also changed swingarm pivot to front axle and swingarm pivot to rear axle.. The bike feels considerably lighter in the front , More stable in the rear. Turns sharper than previous years too.. DEFINITE DENIAL !!!!!
  19. shorter rear exhaust is what most guys use on 125's the stock is the new guard and silencer.. the new guard will not bolt on the shorter mod.....So I assume they used last years guard.. ps who did the wheels highland??????????
  20. all rules are basically the same only big changes are the 125 expert class.. On Duluth .. They expressed an interest ONLY if the series needed them .. The representitives from that area felt the series was very good as it stands... Maybe in 08 !!!!
  21. yes the High school and Junior classes still exist ... although all that truly understand the sport know a 125 until all techniques are perfected,is the best route.. For all youngsters.. So Homer can ride either class junior (support Line) or High school (es line). This proposal by no means ment to exclude anyone it was meant to help those with european dreams to have a fair chance at it .. There are those at the Council who believe this will have no effect on that dream ... C'mon Kids Prove them wrong I know in my heart this will help !!!!

Rounds 9 and 10....August 11 +12 New Mexico All in the Summer ... Organizers stepped up this year to support the kids Requests and adult Requests Both Looks Like a Fantastic Series
  23. Attn : all 125 Riders 17 yrs or younger A New National Championship Trials Class Has been Created For riders from 12- 17 years of age. Riding 125 cc bikes on the National Expert Line.. This was proposed by me to give our youth with European Aspirations a genuine attempt at a World Championship or at least World Championship Contention. My Hope for this class will be A stepping stone For a Youth Rider to Step up for a World Championship..Or World Championship Competition..

    Beta Rev 3 07

    MAD...N... RICK Any other manufacturer would call these mods a totally new model .......The Frame IS VERY MUCH DIFFERENT..The 07 plastics will not fit any others.. Niether will many of the gearbox parts as there are a page of Lighter changed Pieces... The Fork clamps are completely different !!!! Both of them ... The Frame has also changed by the footpeg mounts to be thicker and stronger.. yes the capacity of fuel has changed about 1.5 tenths less.. If And WHEN you actually look at one next to a 06 or older you will see an incredible difference in Size ... The weight reduction is very signifigant as well ... 3.6 lbs or 1.5 kg approximately.. LOOK BEFORE Sounding OFF The new shock length and settings are PRIMO !!!! ALL AROUND NEW FEEL AND POWER..
