  1. Here you go. This is for the 310 which may be similar to the 309.
  2. ^^^^^^ That brings memories back. Same bike, similar flares . I rebored mine out (the bike not the flares) to a hair's breadth of rupture. Thrown chains didn't matter, I just pushed the bike back a couple of miles. I'd have a fit if that happened again.
  3. @RunnerUp. I have no idea if those wheels are stock or after market. But you can contact the owner at stevens-trials.co.uk @rabie. I'll try and make it with my camera. I am now a memeber of the K&S MCC with my ACU membership in the post. The only problem now is understanding what markers mean what as in paleolithic times when I last did trials we used ribbons at best. Steep learning curve. @Dom. I'll PM or email you. Thanks.
  4. How about "team muddy cracks" or "the soiled cracks"
  5. I'm sorry spud I can't coz the 20th. is my birthday and my wife will have my "nuts" for garters if I wreck the "secret" party she has organised and go off to a trial. The day before (yes a Saturday) I've got to go and see my son's school headmaster I'de be more than happy to help out any other Saturday or Sunday. Is there anything on this coming week end?
  6. @spud Been a bit busy and will probably be going to Stevens on Friday to buy kit and have a chat. So no affiliation to any club yet or the ACU but they are on my "to do" list. I got the new dellorto carb and fitted it to my Cota 310 late yesterday evening. It worked perfectly only to find that the front caliper piston seal bust chucking fluid all over the place. I am basically starting anew. @Motosinge83 Thanks. I exchanged emails with Agustin about 4 years ago when I thought I may get down to the restoration. My work took over and the bikes were left in storage. Apparently the colour was/is Max Meyer yellow 132 Alfa Romeo. I found a great contact for all Ossa spares in Southern Spain. His name is Colmenero and seems to have most items. I just hope my job doesn
  7. Thanks for the pic. Here's my junk awaiting some TLC.
  8. You quite correct. But cost is of the essence here. I don't know how much it would cost to get a new one replicated but it can't be cheap. The used (but in good condition) exhaust with all new connectors, rubber blocks, manifold springs and asbestos gasket has cost me
  9. Thanks Steve, the trouble with the Gripper exhaust is that its like a motocross expansion chamber but smaller. Very hard to replicate or to repair. But luck is on my side. I've just located one in good nick from a contact in Spain.
  10. Hi All, I've got two basket case OSSA TR80 350 Grippers. I am planning a full restoration of one of them and will be using the other for parts. But I know one part that is going to give me a real problem. That's the primary exhaust system, part number 134.920 M. Both are dented. Can these dents be repaired and if so how? Or does anyone know where I can get one in a decent condition? Thanks in advance. Spud Plark
  11. I used a Nikon D70 with a 18-70 Nikkor lens. Nice camera but as with all things technological it has now been surpassed by better and cheaper products. Those pics are shrunk versions. Got more but don't know if riders would take kindly to seeing their faces plastered on the web. Got my bikes yesterday. The Ossa TR80's are wrecks and in urgent need of restoration and I stripped the Cota's carb apart after foolishly spending an hour trying to kick the motor into life It was one big glop of gum. Called Dellorto UK and they are sending me a CS version rebuilt to ZS specs. Friendly bunch. Probably going to Stevens this week to get some kit and talk Shercos. Pity I missed you both. Next time. 3 more
  12. Hi rabie, Just got back from Canada Heights but didn't find you. I asked a couple of the officials but they hadn't seen you either. Nasty weather, but took some pics. Hope you can see them. There was a guy with a nice Ossa. Spud Plark
  13. Thank you all so much. I never realised trials was so active in this area. I have now spoken to Karen at Stevens she suggested the Kent and Sussex MCC or the 96. Seems I am closer to the K&S MCC but the two clubs are frequently competing together at either Crowborough or Rotherfield. I am trying to get through to the K&S MCC. I have also emailed EDMCC and Gest. I have got the transport Co. to bring my bikes back asap, they are currently in storage. More than likely I
